"Love this Safeway it's definitely the smallest but I love that abut it, makes it easy to find anything and everything!"

"I walk in there at 7:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning just to pick up a little fruit and a box of oatmeal. Of course there are employees scurrying throughout the store stocking shelves but they only had one checker and the guy was doing his monthly shopping in front of me. Why on Earth are none of the self checks open at 7:00 a.m.? I've lived in the North End of Tacoma much of my life, this place is just way overpriced and they're just nothing that stands out about it except the convenience. So, you just set your things down and walk out."

"This is a very good Safeway location. It's very well laid out. There are constant sales and really good buy one get one sales. The manager is a very nice man. There are a few handycapped workers here and they are nice and very hard working. The Deli food is always fresh and hot, I highly recommend thier Pizza Sticks, they are pricey but very good. They also have lots of carts for elderly people to drive. The cakes and donuts in the Bakery are very good and fresh, they will customize a cake and write whatever you want on it ir add other decorations. They have a huge produce area with very fresh fruits and vegetables. Definitely come to this Safeway location for your shopping."

"This store has improved since my last review. I still can't give it a perfect score since I disagree with some of the other people regarding the produce department. They really need to find a different buyer. The quality of the vegetables speaks for themselves especially lettuce. The check out experience is a complete turn around. The PIC for the front end called backup when it was needed and we had practically no waiting at all. Also, there were plenty of carts available without going outside to hunt one down."
