Jade Restaurant and Lounge 8904 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98103

"Our group was up in the area after watching a movie late at night. We all craved some Chinese food and this restaurant happened to be open late. The layout of the restaurant was odd. The lounge area didn't seem to be open and there were a lot of space used for storage. It gave off a very Asian homely vibe. To the right is the actual dining space and bar. There wasn't very much structure to the restaurant. It was a bit disorderly which threw us off. I don't think they keep up with the cleanliness of the place. When it came to the food, it exceeded my expectations for Chinese American food. Based off the Yelp ratings, I did not think I would enjoy the dishes as much as I actually did. The food came out in big portions and served hot at the same time. The dishes were cooked with flavor and was pretty on par with other Chinese restaurants I've been to. The hospitality was great. It seemed to be family owned and the staff there were accommodating to us. Despite the sketchy area, I would come here again to support this business."

"Place is a little dusty and dirty, and not a place to take a big group of people to small for that, but the food is amazing! They offer to go and delivery. Staff is very friendly. Definitely will be going back any time we visit."

"I've only ever gotten DoorDash pickups for myself, but the food is great (drive 15mins for it) and the staff is friendly. The inside gives a "hole in the wall bar" vibe, but it's pretty much out of use (table area used as storage) since the pandemic started. It does have a few tables near the bar and the bar itself, though, if you are interested in dining in."

"The only place I know of in Seattle where you can order food at 3:00 in the morning. Only downside is they open at 4:00 p.m., so no lunch here but that's okay with me. Plus they do not skimp on the shrimp, as the shrimp chow mein is fantastic. You also get four egg rolls instead of two like at Mandarin gate for the same price, and they also have them with meat, unlike Mandarin Gate, and unlike China Dragon who doesn't deliver at all."
