Ken and family are very knowledgeable and do a great job, and we will ALWAYS go here first before going to any Big Box store. This place is a real gem."

"Ok I need to vent. In times like these with the pandemic, I am sure Castle Rock Building Supply is suffering just like a lot of small businesses are. You'd think they'd be grateful to have customers come in. Well, today was the first and last time I will be going there. I was laughed at and shunned for asking if they had topsoil. Yes, I am the one you turned your back on and didn't bother to say thanks for coming in, or have a good day, or sorry we couldn't help you when I left. I almost took it personally but she was also rude to another gentleman in the store. I was speechless and appalled. Get this, according to their website "Customer service is our business, and we are able to provide it on a personal level that you can't get at larger stores." and "We are proud of our reputation for excellent customer service...." Now that's funny. I'd much rather spend my money at Lowe's or Home Depot where the employees are kind and respectful. You ruined my first time there and I wish you luck (not really). Ok, I'm over it."

"Went into Castle Rock Supply for a board. Met Ken, the owner and he was extremely helpful. Told him what I needed and asked if they could cut it in half. Ken put an associate on it immediately who led me into back and allowed me to choose my board. While I chatted with Ken the board was cut and loaded into my pickup. What excellant Custer Service and price for board very reasonable plus cut no cost. Have new projects for future and will obtain all my wood supplies at Castle Rock Lumber."

"Yep - the other reviews are very correct. Ken and his crew have the best advice and best products around. If they don't have the materials you need they will order and get it in within a couple days. Between these guys and Amazon, we have no real need for Home Depot or Lowes any more."

"Better wood than home Depot and Lowe's and cost is 10% less. Hands down, best lumber yard around. They do have decent tool selection too and supply enough for a contractor and friendly for a small job too"
