Szechuan Garden Chinese Restaurant

"Food wasn't quite what I expected. Entrees didn't come with rice so we had to order some on the side, the containers our food came in literally had cracks in them, also the dishes seems to lack flavor and tasted much different than expected. Overall, it's fine, but I would try a different restaurant before coming back to here."

"Ordered Szechuan Style Prawns without shell and Eggplant with hot garlic sauce. The prawns were heavily breaded and about a pound of prawns. The eggplant made everything yummyful! The server/owner was rushing everything. Atmosphere is typical Asian restaurant: dark and needs renovation. Parking was plentiful."

"So far, so good. Fried rice is decent. Pepper Salt shrimp is super oily. That's not what i was expecting. There is no rice with the order. Seems to be the norm now with most places. Nothing extraordinary or anything."

"Went alone for the dinner. Tried Dan Dan Noddles (担担面) and chilli oil dumplings (红油抄手). Half way eating the dumpling, getting kitchen to increase to super hot. Huh, really spicy after that, but I enjoyed as quite some time didn't take so spicy already. Sweating, LOLX. No Mongolian Chicken nor Kung Pao Chicken for me as these are very Americanized Chinese Dish here.. haha, no offense."

"I’ve lived in China and Taiwan and this restaurant I would say is as authentic as it gets for being in Hillsboro . One word of caution do not get more than a 2/5 spice level , we got 4/5 and it was painful yet still delicious."
