"I just left this place in tears. Some hair over processed and fALLING OUT, other hair under processed and yellow. Left with loads of damage, hair loss, YELLOW bangs, and random chunks of blond. They did give me 25 percent off for the traumatic experience but still charged me and would not fix it. I had to leave looking like this. I totally get making a mistake- I know the stylist probably felt bad and I feel for her however she could have made this a much better experience if she had helped me through it instead of running out of the room and hiding out in the back when we saw my hair was white and falling out. Incredibly sad!"

"Went for a specific item that this location's website said was in stock. The security person followed me around, not sure why, I wasn't even carrying a purse. The item was not in stock. This happened before with a different item at the same location and they at least checked in the back for it but this time they didn't even do that. Got the item on the Clinique website, on sale. Next time I'll start with that. If you're going for a specific item, do not rely on the website info."

"I came in at 11:45am on Saturday morning 1/20 for a Formal Makeup Session. I waited over an hour to finally be sat in the seat. I was so late I said I would probably end up doing the every day makeup look instead as I had no time. The artist agreed. She did not seem to know what she was doing and ended up having another artist come over and wipe it off. The other artist fixed my eye makeup a bit, but I still left without the original artist reapplying my mascara. I ended up having to do that myself at home. I was never offered lashes, and the look was absolutely not a formal makeup look (I was okay with paying for that). I am actually angry. My 12pm appointment didn’t end until 2:20 and I had to finish it myself. I was late and had to pay baby sitters extra. What was really not cool is that the girl still gave the ticket to be paid to the manager at the full $60 price, and that the manager saw my makeup and had no problem charging me for it. I would never recommend this place if you’re counting on it for an event. I honestly feel scammed. I will say that my artist was very sweet, but had no business doing makeup for anyone. If you must go to this location, do yourself a favor and book with Faith. She was the only reason I didn’t look a complete mess. She had her own client and came over to help at least twice."

"I recently had a great experience at this Ulta. I came in and was greeted by the staff and immediately was approached by a very kind worker asking if I needed help. I was in between a few different face products and he spend around 40 minutes helping me find the right one for me. Amongst conversation, he did multiple swatches for me of each product and matched me to my perfect shades. I hope that the Ulta Tacoma staff can read this and extend my gratitude for such attentive, spectacular service their employees provide!"

"Faith is amazing with hair. I had a general idea of what I wanted and she made it happen. My daughter showed her a picture and boom that’s what she got! She got us in on short notice due to us traveling and was great to chat with :) definitely suggest her!"
