"I really wanted to like this salon, I did my research but I had higher expectations from their websites that did not meet the experience going in. I liked my stylist, I thought she was super nice and I felt okay with my haircut when I left. I booked another 3 months out because I was telling myself I was being overly critical and expecting my hair to be at a point where it just isn't from my last bad haircut. It was pretty thin feeling on the bottom ends which I thought was maybe due to the hair being styled and blown out, it was super smooth from the conditioning treatment, but I was wrong. I showered and took a look at the back of my hair to see why it felt so thin, I realized I did not get the long layers as I asked for, I got medium length layers which took off my longest layers and made the majority of thickness from my hair go to the top portion of my head and in doing so, created a literal shelf; even after we spoke about how my hair could look shelf like without the right cut and we were going to avoid that! I have a whole shelf on my head, a big noticeable chunk from one length to the other. My hair is curly and coarse so it bounced up. My friends said "it honestly looks like a bowl cut and a mullet had a baby". I am mortified because at this point, the only way to fix it, it to cut it off where the majority of my hair is currently sitting which I'm not willing to do. Many mental breakdowns later, I'm not willing to have my hair touched any further. The expectations that were set were by NO means met. I've since cancelled my future appointment."

"Dolce salon is the best salon I’ve ever been to hands down. I nearly gave up on my search until I found this place! Vanessa always gives me a better haircut than I could imagine and it's great to have a stylist understand what I’m going for and make it work for me! Their atmosphere is comfortable, pretty, and friendly as well. I always leave feeling happy and excited to come back! Definitely would recommend!"

"I’ve been with Vanessa for a bit over a year, and I’ve loved having her as my stylist. I’ve also been to a couple other stylists, and they’re great as well. The atmosphere of this place is amazing, and everyone that’s done my hair has been great and it’s turned out how I’ve wanted every time. After a few botched cuts and colors at other places it was hard for me to initially spend a bit more on my hair when I didn’t know how it would turn out, but I haven’t been disappointed since I started going here."

"I don’t even know where to begin! I love this place! Megan is amazing! She is all about keeping the integrity of your hair rather than just doing things that will make more money. I had health issues that caused my hair to fall out and break off. I was looking for sew in extensions. Megan didn’t just throw a bunch of hair at me and take my money. She was very honest and realistic with me. She explained that it’s a process. She added length and volume while making sure to not to damage the hair I already had. I have been going to her since October 2023. Not only do my extensions look and feel amazing, but my own hair has grown more in these few months then it had in the past 2 years with my other extensions."
