"I came in on Monday to tan getting ready for my vacation five years in the planning on saving the girl behind the counter asked me which bed I wanted I said let’s do a stand up she said for how long I said well what’s the max and she said 10 minutes I said well I haven’t been in in a long time do you think I should do 10 minutes or less? She said oh you will be fine at 10 minutes, well I was not by that evening I was so burnt I could not even wear clothes I lost the whole week of work my face was swollen. My eyes were swollen shut. This has been the most miserable healing from in my life as adults we make our own decision but when you go into an establishment, you expect the employees to give their advice their input their knowledge she should’ve taken one look at me. No one out of spare skin and maybe said four minutes five minutes. Recommended something other than 10 minutes there other girls know that have done that no I don’t think you should go for that long. Try this OK fine great you count on the people in the uniform behind the counters I’ve had to cancel a couple excursions I planned on experiencing for the first time once in a lifetime trip and now it’s ruined. I just want to reach out and remind everybody to be aware, be cautious know your own limits don’t count on , a person working in establishment to have knowledge of what they’re doing. The thing is I stepped out before 10 minutes was even up because I started to feel so hot. If I had stayed that 10 minutes I would probably have ended up in the burn unit, I have pictures that are horrible , I will not post them but I will send them to management"

"I definitely would not recommend this business whatsoever. The staff working there are wonderful however I had fractured two discs in my back. I was unable to make it there in time to cancel my account before they took the funds from my account. They refused to give me a refund even though I was unable to use the membership at all for that month sue to an injury. That is just bad business. When you have to be present to cancel membership, and customer is physically unable to be present in time to cancel; that should be considered an extenuating circumstance, and receive refund. This is on corporate, the facility itself; the staff are wonderful."

"Mary was very personable and professional in explaining the spay tanning services and package deals. I currently am only interested short term tanning for an upcoming wedding and vacation this Fall. Mary’s recommendation for the best deal was a perfect fit! Facility is very clean. I went with the #2 clear setting. Next day at work, co workers noticed I was “glowing and looked amazing”. I’m super pleased with the results after just one session but look forward to using Desert Sun Tanning Salon in Yelm for the next 6 weeks."

"Jasmine was so kind. It was our first time in the salon and she went above and beyond for us. We had LOTS of questions about packages and tanning lotions..she answered all of them and was very informative, too! Most of all, she was patient. The salon itself is nice and clean and the tanning beds were great! Great experience so far!"
