"I can't say enough good things about this shop. Over the last 7 years, as a self-employed landscape pro and property manager, I have purchased numerous Stihl battery-powered tools, stopped in for any number of "can you help me" questions, and rented numerous tools and equipment. Unfailingly, they have set me up with tools that work. And twice they (Wayne and Santana) have sent me Stihl tools and parts to my new address off-island. I want other shops to be this helpful, but they don't measure up. I'll just keep going back to Harbor Rental because they do! Thank you!"

"I reserved a chipper to rent and let them know I was coming from Orcas Island. When I arrived to pick up the chipper that I reserved, they wouldn't honor my reservation and said they no longer rent to Orcas Island residents. The manager explained the boss was in Hawaii and theres nothing he could do. This was a wasted trip and just cost me a days wages and ferry fees. I will never do business here again."

"My wife and I stopped into this rental shop yesterday because we were freaking out about our tire pressure indicator light being on. I asked one of the guys if he had a tire pressure gauge I could borrow and not only did he grab the one hooked up to the garage, but he ran it out to our car and proceeded to help me check all of the tires. This guy was so helpful! I wish I knew his name so I could call him out personally, so all I can do is recommend this business as having super kind and helpful folks working there. Maybe he was the owner, who knows? Thank you Harbor Rental & Saw Shop, keep up the great work and thanks for being so tremendously kind!!!"

"Very helpful, as usual. They have a good selection of equipment and even though they are a near monopoly since we are on an island, they always give great service."

"They know their products and do a great job serviceing and repairing what they sell and more. But a recent incident was troubeling. I purchased a new generator via phone that I had looked at just about an hour before. It was on sale at $3995. Down from $4495. They were to deliver it to Roche ramp next morning. All went well but I later discovered they had charged my CC for the $4495 plus tax. I called and was told the sale had ended before I bought it. Not a good way to install customer support."
