"This place is freaking good. I’ve gotten the birria tacos and quesadilla multiple times and it is beyond delicious. I’ve only gotten take out, but they are fast to get food out and the inside is very charming. After seeing so many small businesses close in Wedgwood it’s comforting to know this place is still open. Always love to support small business and it really doesn’t hurt when the food is some of the best. This place rocks!"
"We had dinner here tonight for the first time. I had the Chile Verde burrito and my friend had the mole enchiladas. $14.95 a piece abs chips and salsa are free. It was really yummy! I’ll be back again. Could use some friendlier customer service, but all in all it was solid. 4.5/5"
"First the not good: - $12 house margaritas are tasty but have almost no tequila in them. We drank two and didn’t feel a thing; they’re WAY overpriced and too weak. -They are *illegally* using styrofoam to-go containers on both of our visits. We care about the environment and this is about as terrible as plastic gets. The great: - the food and service is fantastic, the portion size compared with the inexpensive plates are an excellent value. We’ve had the carne asada, chicken a la crema enchiladas, and the *amazing* pollo fundido (taquitos). A step up from typical Mexican fare. The pico de gallo is excellent, the house salsa is fresh and excellent. -Summary: If they would quit using illegal styrofoam and put more than a *splash* of tequila in their margaritas, I’d give them 5 stars!"
"Small, intimate atmosphere and great food! Street parking. I think there might be parking in the back also. We went on a Friday night at 730pm and there was no wait. Large portions. We had the birria burrito and Chipotle special. They serve beer and liquor. Chips and salsa are REALLY good! You do get charged for chip and salsa refills, however. That's why I took off a star. I'm planning to try to street tacos and sopas next time!"
"Outstanding chicken molé at this little family owned (daughter & father) Mexican restaurant. In addition to typical beans & rice, they added a small fresh & pickled shredded salad that was very refreshing to the palate and served as a contrast to the other flavors. Very fresh chips and salsa. Delicious, slightly boozy margarita. Prompt and personable service. I will be back with friends. Check it out!"
