"Came in with my mom to look for a pair of wide width brown ankle boots about 2 hours ago. We were guided to the section, told that there aren’t all that many options for what we were looking for, then that guy walked away. A few minutes later, a young gentleman named Blake came over to help us instead. He has absolutely amazing customer service skills, very professional, friendly, looked up size & colors, and offered recommendations. He even helped my mom find a pair of shoes & we were looking for another to either buy in the store or that we would end up ordering online. The first guy returned to give him a nasty look, asked him what he was helping us with, told me that we weren’t gonna find anything, then left yet again. Shortly after, the manager named Danielle came over with a clipboard to tell him in a very rude manner that he needs to be in his zone. You don’t do that in front of customers when they are being actively helped by that employee. He promptly returned to his assigned area to face products. A different employee asked us what we needed help with, but we told her that it was very unprofessional how Danielle acted when Blake was being wonderful. Danielle came over to tell us that it’s to prevent shoplifting. There were more than enough other workers to cover his zone since there were maybe two other customers in the entire store & they were seemingly walking around aimlessly. We ended up buying the pair of boots that Blake helped us find, but we will not be returning in-store or otherwise thanks to Danielle. The guy that was actually assigned that section that complained didn’t even come back to ask if we needed anything after Blake was sent away. Highly disappointed. Management should have a refresher course on professionalism."

"Probably the worst shopping experience I've ever had. I don't know how hard this shop has been hit by shoplifting, but the employee was following us and usually 4-8ft away from my mother and I. I had 2 sweaters with a receipt from another store, but we did not have any bags and wore light, seasonably appropriate coats. I felt super uncomfortable being in the store so I stopped trying on shoes and moved into the aisle within a clear line of sight while my mother finished up, and he still did not give us any space. He was hovering to the point that he looked OVER the aisle of shoes to watch my mom try on shoes, and asked us if we needed assistance multiple times with no other attempt at conversation. The lurking over the shoe rack after I moved into his line of sight with the sweaters felt insane to me because I am not sure why else we would have been profiled."

"If zero stars were possible I would give it. I met people with poor customer service but the teenager I encountered earlier tonight (around 4-5:30pm) beat them all. Not only was he very rude but the place was a big mess. Shoes and boxes all over the floor. There was literally no other customers in there other than me and my sister and the young man stayed sitting and scrolling on his phone. Must be nice to sit around when there’s work to be done. I really think some places should keep an eye on their teenage workers."

"10/10 amazing service!! Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and has magnificent customer service skill!! We were greeted and directed by Danyell! We let her know we could take it from there but ended up needing more help, Tate was very sweet and answered our questions and we came to the conclusion we would have to order our shoes online. From there Aliza helped us complete our online order and let us know to come back if we had any issues and they would help!"

"Walking the mall the other day, I came across a new shoe store; apparently, they have been there for a few months, but it was brand new to me. Of course, I had to stop in for a couple of minutes and scope out the shoes, see what the "Shoe Dept" had to offer. First and foremost, the sales associate working there, her name, which I will mess up, was Ilosia; what a genuinely lovely person she was and made me feel super welcomed in the store, and even if it was her job to do so, she made it seem effortless! From what I could tell the Shoe Dept had a nice variety of styles for women, men, and children and offered shoes from several well-known companies like Merrell, Broc, Columbia, Easy Spirit, Sketchers, Nike, Adidas, and more. Even companies I haven't heard of, and the prices, what I saw, seemed pretty reasonable. I think they offered some accessories as well. I plan on going back in a few weeks to try this store out, hopefully, purchase a pair of shoes, see how I like them and how the shoes feel; hopefully, customer service will still be exceptional. I am ranking them a four star for now; obviously, I haven't tried their shoes yet, so I don't feel comfortable ranking them a five star, but I hope to purchase some this spring, this ranking is because of the sales associate being so friendly, and shoe prices seemed sensible. I plan to write an update on this store after purchasing my first pair of shoes; then, I will determine if I need to change how I rank it. The store was clean, and the shelves seemed neatly stocked, and what I could tell, somewhat organized. I am excited there's another shoe store to shop in; more options, more choices, and more jobs are always good! For those who don't know, this shoe store is located inside Kitsap Mall space F02, I believe. I think they are close to the Spencer store. I wish I could offer more information about the company itself; I know this company is located throughout the United States and has several store locations under a few different names. **Always remember, these are challenging times for most people; every job is essential, and so is supporting those jobs and supporting our locally owned businesses**"
