"My husband and I came in for a haircut on the afternoon of February 19th. It was horrible. I will never go here again or any Great Clips location again, and advise nobody ever go here again. I am a woman of color with particularly curly hair that frequently has issues with matting, especially when going on trips or being busy with work. While places may have charged extra, rightly, for helping me work through my hair, I have never had anyone abjectly refuse to work with my hair for any fee or any reason, neither at this location, nor any other, in three states. Which the person working did. More than that, I am mute. I am not in any way mentally handicapped, but I can't speak. This worker not only refused to do my hair, which someone else at this location had done before, but also treated me like a child or idiot, only after speaking only to my husband about not cutting my hair, and then telling me they wouldn't do it in a very slow and patronizing way. I'm mute, but not stupid. And was very offended. To make it worse, the person doing this loudly aired this whole discussion to the entire salon, having no tact or grace what so ever. I am offended, insulted, and frustrated. I am beyond embarrassed that anyone would treat anyone else like this, even if I was intellectually disabled, which, again, I'm not. I'm never coming to a great clips again, and I'm telling all my friends to do the same."

"12-23-2023 Update: I reached out to customer service and below is the full answer I received. But first, before you read it, to me it reads, "Go kick rocks, you loser." The full reply: "Thank you for reaching out about your experience at our Hazel Dell location. It is unfortunate that this happened and that you were unhappy with your service. It is our top priority to make sure our stylist are doing consultations and that our customers are getting the haircuts that they want. It seems we did not reach your expectations and for that I apologize. Thank you for being our customer and I hope that in the future we have another chance to change your experience for the better. Sincerely, Briana AGM" Hey Briana, I had to get out my trimmer this morning and drastically even up my side burns and hair over one ear. One side was super thick and very noticeably longer than the other. One ear had hair over the top while the other couldn't be forced to comb to match. Had you compt me my next cut you may have regained a customer. But instead I received that very lame email. 12-16-2023 Aurora cut my hair. I asked for a slight trim. Not all my hair. My long hair is gone now. NEVER COMING BACK!!!!! VERY ANGRY!!!!!!"

"Good place for a men's haircut. I little bit pricier than the one that I used to go to in Longview, but still the same good service. What I really like is that you don't need an appointment. You can just walk in and get your haircut. This may involve some short wait (an hour or so) if they are really busy,"
