"Super disappointed. I feel ripped off. I came in for a low undercut. An inch or less undercut from the hairline in a v shape. I was quoted 10$ for an undercut on the phone. 8$ additional for a shampoo. 18$ out the door. No problem. When I told Lori what kind I wanted, everything was fine. She took her time sectioning, and we talked shop. I am also a stylist, so just chill. Got my shampoo. After,I handed her a 20 and waited for check out. Check out took a few minutes, to which she said it's a new computer system. Fine. She finally gets me wrung up, hands back the 20, and says $36. I was quiet for a second, said ok and paid plus 20%. I'm not the kind of person to cause a ruckus and honestly just wanted to leave otherwise i would have looked for a no tip option. In the consult, she knew what I wanted and said nothing. It feels like she didn't want to say anything because she knew I would have been upset. Consultations would have kept me from being blindsided. She charged me 36$ for 15 minutes of time and a bare minimum shampoo experience. Not impressed. Will not be returning. Ever."
