"No store is perfect, so I usually don't give perfect stores. This one of the nicer Fred Meyer stores. They usually reflect the town in which they're located, which is University Place, in this case."

"I've been coming to this store off and on for about 8yrs & I hate it. I avoid it, if possible. They have a fantastic fruit selection and I like their ready meals. But I have never once gotten good/pleasant customer service. Any time I've ever needed help, I've been met with employees who act like I am bothering them. Today was no exception. I live less than 5 mins from here & stopped after work (at 730am), reluctantly. I overlooked the price on an item and asked a blondish lady who was stocking the meat & cheese display for help. She was so rude and just snapped at me "It's on the front. Every single one..." I'm not a sensitive person who gets offended easily but it was very irritating. I'm glad they have self checkout, the least amount of interaction I have with their employees - the better! The products are the only reason I come back to this place."

"3 chances and you're out. I'd rather just go to Safeway. The only reason why I took a recording is because this is the third time. This was at 11: 30am. Pretty much the lunch rush with no staff to help."

"They have the best digital coupons, some can be used 5X. Great savings throughout the store. Staff are very friendly and the new lay out is much better after the remodel a few years back. "I have visited some of the other local Fred Meyer stores but this one is my favorite because of its location and overall layout. It’s a hit and miss with the staff when it comes to courtesy and helpfulness but mainly good service. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I especially enjoy coming here in the early morning hours. I actually look forward to grocery shopping instead of considering it a chore when visiting this store."
