"I received a hair cut recently that I am very unhappy with. The hairdresser was a very nice person but the front of my hair is not symmetrical. It really bothers me. They did offer me an appointment for a fix but it showed up online as an additional $40 haircut with the same stylist so I cancelled it."

"It might be a bit odd to write a review of a salon I'm NOT using for in-person services, but my amazing phone experience with Color Bar is still worthy of 5-star praise, almost especially so. When I called to find out if they used a purple toner for blonde/gray hair that was different than what is available for non-stylist purchase, they said the products they use ARE available to me as a consumer, they even gave me the name of both purple shampoos they use, and even though I wasn't booking in for a shampoo service, they were as kind and patient and comprehensive in helping me, as if I were. That standard of excellent phone service is rare and greatly appreciated by those of us who prefer to cut and care for our hair at home whenever possible. I ordered one of the salon-used shampoos on Amazon, it arrives tomorrow which is 5 days sooner than the first available salon shampoo appointment - Color Bar helped me help myself, and they deserve every star possible."

"I've been going to Jerica for years for my blonding experience. Even before she had her own salon. I've gone through many stylists as I'm very picky with how I like my hair done. Jerica is always honest and gets me to where I want to be at. Having dark hair it can be more difficult to get it to the platinum color you want. She seems to always get me to be happy! I literally told her I'll never go elsewhere unless she forces me to. I love her and her work. I'll be a continued customer of hers for life or as long as she will have me."

"I've been going to TCB for 3 years now and love them. My first stylist left after having a baby and I now have Jessica King. I have thick wavy hair that I've struggled with but Jessica cuts it perfect every time - no extra work or styling required. I've also been getting balayage that looks completely sun kissed and natural. I decided to go grey this year and was terrified to tell her lol I had heard horror stories about unsupportive stylists & TCB is so trendy and younger skewing but Jessica was amazing about it. She went over my options and did a one time baby lights on my darker brown hair (I hope I've got that right ) and everything is growing in beautifully 7 months later. I don't have a harsh demarcation line. I didn't have to go blonde or damage my hair. They do cost a bit more but in 3 years I have never had a bad cut or color. And they have a very relaxing supportive, fun vibe."
