"I called to get my roots touched up and was given an appointment with Lily at 2:00 on Friday. When I got there I told her I wanted my roots touched up and gave her the formula my stylist in Renton provided me when we started our travels. She went back to mix the color. When she started putting it on I commented and said why did it look so white. She mumbled something like hat I couldn’t understand. Several times I commented. As it seemed she was doing farther down than my roots. She washed it out and when I sat down I was shocked that my roots were bleached. I asked why she had bleached my grey roots instead of darkening with the color I gave her. She said she still had to put the color on and she was going to mix that now it will be fine. When she came back out and started putting it on she was covering a lot of my highlights and I was again questioning what she was doing. She had done the whole top of my head. Then she proceeded to take the color all the way down to the ends of my hair. By this point I was asking are you making my hair all the same color? She said yes. I’m said that is not what I asked you to do. She said “Well most of my clients just let me do my own thing.” I said is that what your doing is your own thing not what I asked you to do because you have just covered all my highlights and I did not want my hair all one color. This is not at all what I asked you to do. She said it was a misunderstanding even though I questioned what she was doing many times during the process. She offered to fix it and made an appointment for Monday at 10:00. She then cancelled that appointment on Sunday and said she couldn’t make it and to call so we could reschedule. I was and still am very angry. This is more than a miss communication she has destroyed all the money I have put into getting my hair color/ highlights where I wanted it. And I don’t trust her to do it again. I never received a response back from them."

"I requested a balayage with a slightly lighter color than my natural hair. Showed an example and everything. I got new-girl Lily. I left 4 hours later, paid over a hundred dollars, no balayage and I had ugly orange hair with yellow roots. Lily made rude comments and caused me a lot of physical pain (pulling my hair and using excessively hot water). I communicated plenty, but she kept tugging and turning up the hot water. She left the die on too long, so my hair turned yellow then had to "correct" it two more times before I finally had to quit because my head and scalp hurt too badly. Sue seemed sweet, offered my daughter and I chocolate and water. She also apologized for my experience while Lily scrambled in the back room to find another shade to "correct" with. I think the owner should invest in retraining Lily before she runs the reviews down to one star."
