"i feel so bad doing this, i am never the type to leave a bad review or complain. i even still tipped my stylist $10 after my experience because i felt bad, but i just want to leave this here to say please if your stylists dont have the skillset to do certain haircuts, then please make them refuse the service!! or suggest a stylist who can properly execute the style. i came in to cut my medium length, above the shoulder hair into a pixie cut. i have naturally curly hair that i have been straightening and dying my whole life, and i wanted to cut it off into a cute very short style to start over and grow my curls out healthy again. the stylist who did my hair probably did the whole hair cut in about 15 minutes. she parted my hair into 3 big sections, one in the back and two on the side (she parted my hair right in the middle and i do not part my hair in the middle and she never even asked where i part my hair) then she cut the back up super short and cut the sides in one huge cut right to my mid cheek, no layering, no thinning, nothing. she basically gave me a bowl cut with a short choppy back, and not even a good bowl cut at that because it was so uneven, not blended and all, with random super long and then super short pieces. mind you again, she did this in 15 minutes. i think she realized she did not have the skillset to execute this haircut because she tousled my hair a bunch to kind of hide how bad the haircut was and rushed me out as quickly as she could. it was almost hilarious how bad my haircut was. i obviously needed to fix it that day because it was so bad and so far from what i asked for. i went to a few other hair salons and the other stylists were SHOCKED someone could let someone leave with this haircut lol. eventually i was able to go in somewhere else and get it fixed and now i have the super cute choppy pixie i wanted. ive had good experiences at hairmasters before, so i was genuinely really shocked about just how bad this haircut was. i got a pixie here when i was 14 that was amazing, and then again a few years ago i got an ombre here that was also done really well. so please just consider talking to your stylists about saying no and not taking on haircuts they cant do, and suggesting someone or something else. i would have much rather her told me no i'm unable to do this kind of haircut instead of her super messing up my hair and leaving me to freakout and scramble to fix it."

"My daughter wanted to go short a with one side longer and add a streak of color we made the mistake of going to a place that couldn’t do the color and left me disappointed in the cut. We popped in to see if Mastercits could add the pop of color we were looking for and we met Windy! She not only got the color spot on she was able to clean up the work from the other salon making my daughter feel like a rockstar! Thanks Windy- we’ll be back!"
