"Always leave happy! Great customer service they want to ensure you leave happy by asking a long the way! They take feedback really well, and are very understanding and nice if you change your mind about something! For instance I thought about going with long acrylics but after she finished cutting them she asked me if it was good with me I changed my mind and decided to go shorter she was more than happy to do that for me. They also have great knowledge of what’s trending and are amazing with designs. I have been going to MV Nails for the past 15 years, I brought my entire wedding party here for our wedding nails! Highly recommend if you are looking for excellent quality with great service!"
"I first used MV nails in February 2020 before Covid for a pedicure and a gel manicure. Had a great experience and I sought them out due to their raving reviews so I drove 45 mins to use them. I took a break from nails for awhile but I recently got them again. The first time I went they put on a full set. It was OK minus the fact that she left a GAP in between every one of my natural nails and the plastic tip, causing dirt to be trapped under there that I had to constantly scrub out. When I went back for the first fill, the tech did not notice this mistake and i again went another 2 weeks with gaps under my nails and dirt to scrub away. When I went back for my second fill, I pointed out the mistake and he fixed it. Thank you! BUT. I had a appt at 3 pm. I called to say I was running behind so we settled on 3:30. I arrived 3:05 and was sat immediately but then was made to wait for 20 mins while the male tech took a break I guess. Then 15 mins into my service, 2 clients walk in and say they have an appt at 3:45 pm for 2 full sets. He immediately starts to RUSH.( I’d like to add that I also do not get nail polish or design, because they can not do the designs I want so I get plain nails, no polish at all!) now I’m sitting for my pedicure that I had to wait over 30 mins for, that’s fine because I’m getting a massage, but I’m looking over my nails and I noticed the sides were not filled smoothly at all. They are all CURVED and bumpy! It’s now approaching the end of the night about 6 pm and the male nail tech who did my nails is getting ready to leave. I lean forward to tell my pedi tech that my nails will need to be re-filed before I leave. She looks at my nails and then reaches into her caddy and HANDED ME A NAIL FILE SO I COULD FILE MY OWN NAILS. And then they charged my 45$$!!!!! For a fill with NO POLISH OR DESIGN and I HAD TO FIX IT MYSELF IN FRONT OF THEM. IM FLABBERGASTED. These photos were taken 3 and 4 days after that service on 8/21. Acrylic is LIFTING and TWO NAILS HAVE BROKEN IN HALF. Do not recommend and highly and sorely disappointed !"
"I’m not one to leave negative reviews but I have never felt so disrespected and upset about a service in my life. This was not my first time getting acrylics at MV Nails so I was excited to pamper myself before a vacation. I had a pedicure that was great, but the service I got from the nail tech for a fresh set of acrylics was atrocious. From the start she treated me as if I was inconveniencing her time. Then when I asked for her to go a bit shorter she gave me a hard time and told me she would file them down later which she didn’t. She pulled and pushed my hands around aggressively and would tap me with her file anytime my finger wouldn’t be perfectly relaxed. She took 30 minutes longer than the person who started at the same time next to me and my nails turned out awful. They are wide and lumpy and she didn’t file underneath correctly. To top it all off when I went to pay I gave her a $10 tip and she looked confused and took my receipt to her coworkers to shame me about while I was waiting to be told I could leave."
"for starters I came here because I had previously had a fantastic experience with the guy that works there, he really knows how to do nails. I came in asking for a blue French tip with a design and I completely understood if the design wasn’t possible but I was hoping that the French tip would be something that they could do since it’s pretty much a basic but even that it wasn’t done well, I had been there from 2:50pm ish and left at 5:10 I don’t understand how it took so long and this is what I came out with. The nails were super bulky and the French tip was horrible, I had to ask her to just paint the nail completely blue because of how poorly she had done it. If you don’t know how to do some thing, you shouldn’t agree to do it I could’ve easily just asked for a solid color and walked out happy.I was still charged the complete $70 I understand this is somebody’s livelihood but at the same time it sucks walking out with some thing that you hate, if you go here make sure you’re asking questions and looking at your nails throughout the way so you don’t waste your money."
