"I love to stop in for their chai, they keep a boiling carafe on standby. A must have take away for me, the inside is very fluorescent so I tend to not want to hangout."
"First time having Somali food! Couldn't order on Doordash or online so I called in an order for goat & rice and chai. Chai is self serve and so delicious. Goat (I think it is hilib ari) portions were very generous for the price (I think it was 17$), excellently spiced (xawaash? so aromatic, a bit acidic, fingerlickin good), and the rice was fragrant as well with little flecks of cardamom or clove I think. Even better with some lime squeezed on. Goat was not fall off bone tender, but satisfying to chew and suck on. I will definitely be back for the beef, chicken, and pasta."
"Walked by so many time but it’s always kinda empty there, and didn’t see menu. Finally tried their beef rice to go, omg it’s so delicious!!! And it’s kinda big portion. Must try!!"
"DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS SPOT! It’s a clean, simple hole in the wall with fresh, hot, flavorful food that is to DIE for! I walked by here dozens of times without trying it but one night I finally gave it a shot and my mind was blown. Their goat is spiced perfectly, piping hot, and so tender. Their real showstopper, though, is the cardamom rice. I don’t know how they make that rice but it I could. Not. Get. Enough. Also, their chai is spicy, sweet, homemade, and delicious! I don’t understand how this spot hasn’t garnered more attention or awards. It deserves 10 ⭐️ PS: They take credit card now."
