"Those who've had an overall good experience at the Shop are the lucky ones, but I share the feelings of all those unfortunate victims of the male owner's bitter incrimination of people guilty of attempting to do business with him. I won't detail the four month ordeal of the purchase of a used riding mower and the ensuing complications from broken parts. The point is that I was not valued as a customer but rather resented as a nuisance until finally accused of lying and stealing. He even admitted that he never liked me from the moment I walked in the door. Save yourself a likely headache, listen to the negative reviews, don't be fooled by the positive reviews and go somewhere else. It's one excuse after another at this place where the customer is always wrong. I left in tears."

"Avoid this place. Unbelievable. Bought this weed whacker from the shop a couple years back. At the time they said they would bump me up the list for maintenance. It never did work right evan after they performed a tuneup. Brought it back the next season and they say they don't work on them. Guy is pretty much angry I'm asking him to check it out. There is no one in his shop and they won't even look at it. And he was extremely rude."

"I spend close to $500 to get a tune up Belts came off after ten seconds of use. Took it in again eight weeks later parts were missing. The worst run business in Skagit Valley. DO NOT GO HERE. drive the extra distance."

"Poor service and overlooks needed repairs. Took forever for them to repair and overhaul our rototiller, had to constantly call them as they continually had excuses for taking over a month for them to work on the equipment. One of the belts broke after we got it back as it was worn and frayed, they never even noticed and didn't replace. Will never do business with them again!"

"They Welded the front wheel assembly back on my mower on same day I dropped it off and for less money than quoted... AMAZING !!! I have a 10 Year old John Deer mower where the front wheel caster assembly tore off the mower deck front corner leaving a hole in the deck wall. I did not want to spend the money on replacing the mower so I called some welding shops and they wanted a couple weeks and up to $150 for the work. So I called The Shoppe and they said their minimum charge would be $35 and may be as high as $50. I dropped it off the next day and was told it could take as much as a week or sooner if possible. This was not a surprise being it is spring time. I was stunned that they actually called me later that day to say it was done ! ! Apparently they had another welding job to do that day so they welded mine at the same time. When I stopped in to pick up the mower the repair was done as promised and they had even painted the repair welded area with John Deer green paint so you could not tell it was even repaired. The bill for the work was only $35 ! Very reasonable. They saved me money and I am happy to be able to mow the lawn again without buying a new mower or having to wait for weeks for the repair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business. Also they have a convenient location just off the freeway in South Mount Vernon. This local business deserves to be patronized ."
