"Chris and Krista are awesome!!! The store is super cute. Love the knives!!!"
"I sent my high carbon 8β chefs knife with a broken tip for a repair and a sharpen. Looks and cuts like brand new again. Great service for a low cost and great communication."
"My husband and I took a long weekend away in October to Lopez Island. It was our first time there, and it was such a beautiful, serene place. We wandered around the little village, and we happened across a store with the most beautiful knives on display. I am a former culinary teacher and I have been dreaming of buying a smaller, handmade chef's knife for some time. Sitting in the window of this small shop was the perfect knife. As soon as I saw it, I turned to my husband and said, "That knife is leaving this island with me." We contacted the owners Chris & Krista, and they told us we could meet them at the shop the next day to pick it up. We talked with them for quite a while about how the shop began, the process of making the blades & handles, their plans for expansion, and more. They are amazing, kind, down-to-earth people that I am very proud to support. The knife I bought has a wonderful weight and feel in my hand. It's made of carbon steel, so I wipe it clean immediately after I'm done using it + rub a little oil on the surface to keep it gleaming. I cannot wait to see how the patina develops as I continue using this blade for the rest of my life! And Chris does free knife sharpening on it at any time - I can send it his way through the mail...or take the ferry back to the island (which is my preferred method because it's so beautiful there!). It was serendipitous to have met these wonderful people and to be able to use something so personal from them every day. Thank you to the pair of you! You've got a customer for life!"
