"Where to start? 1. Denice was a terrible agent. She made an appointment to review dec pages & missed the appointment by 20 minutes. Her excuse was I should have called her. Never ever had a broker claim that. 2. She upsold the hell out of me. Literally nickle & dimed me. As a result my premiums went WAY up & then were canceled due to a perceived increase risk of loss. Actual difference in coverage provided "

"Have a single loss after 37 years of premiums. $150,000 approximately paid in this time for homeowners Ice and wind storm with frozen pipe happened weeks ago An appraiser sent from Florida and says we are ok to repair. Next transferred to another Safeco person who has then sent us to 2 others “Send us estimate's “ So After 3 estimates for a $10,000 water damage they don’t approve until waiting 2 more weeks to evaluate estimates I sent. That they sent to a rep from Safeco owned business from across the country (Tennessee) to see if they will cover.using their appraiser( kind of like bad car parts ) Not conflict of interest is it? Another week ( now 5) Then will send to Safeco for possible payment. They say 10-14 days after that. So 7 weeks at best. This is one of three estimates sent. The flooded laundry room repairs again with estimates sent to yet another adjustor and after 2 weeks no word yet. So after paying thousands of dollars in premiums I ‘ve learned. Stay away from Safeco Insurance. And stay away from a company that is pleasant but has no ability to provide anything other than collecting premiums"
