"The restaurant is known for its delicious food, featuring a diverse and appealing menu. The inviting atmosphere creates a comfortable dining environment, complemented by attentive and friendly service that enhances the overall experience. It's a delightful combination of flavors, ambiance, and hospitality."
"It's a little pricey but the food is top shelf. The squid ink rice with baked cheese top, triple pepper shrimp, and steamed fish with ginger are all fantastic. The cocktails were OK, but certainly not bad. Service was a little slow but I don't fault them because they were extremely busy."
"One of the best Asian fusion/Chinese restaurants in seattle I’ve been to! Great ambiance, service, and food! I love how their menu has pictures and so many options! Their happy hour menu is great too! I recommend the lollipop chicken wings! I’d come back!"
"A solid 4.5 !Vivienne's Bistro is an exceptional find for those who savor Asian fusion cuisine with a leaning towards Chinese flavors. The Beijing Duck is a standout dish – tender meat complemented by crispy skin, a true culinary delight. Their ribs are also noteworthy, juicy and full of flavor. We tried multiple dishes and none disappointed, each one was a hit. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegantly charming, perfect for a date night. The combination of lighting and decor deserves high praise, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend this little treasure of a restaurant for anyone looking to explore delightful Asian fusion cuisine."
"Tucked in a quiet neighborhood in Mercer Island is this modern Chinese bistro. This is not your average greasy spoon chinese take out place, although their menu do have lots of classic dishes. The typical take out affair is a lot more elevated here with fresh quality ingredients. We discovered this place when hubby had a business lunch with a colleague, and he told me they have crispy duck. Having been very disappointed by the lack of quality Peking duck even from expensive places, i was very skeptical. I called and asked how long ahead do we need to order if we wanted a crispy duck. They said no order ahead is needed. Hmmmm... Suspicious. So we came for the duck. With just the 2 of us there's really not much room to order other things. We asked our wait staff if the lamb chop was good, and he said yes they are but getting them with duck could be a bit too heavy. Very impressed with his candor! We settled on chicken lollipop, duck, veggie chow mein, and earl grey tiramisu. Chow mein was great. Duck was very crispy and lean, unlike most places that serve ducks with too much unrendered fat. The whole duck was well sliced and presented, but only came with 6 buns. You can get more buns by getting them on the side but for a $75 dish that is best shared by a group, i think they should provide more. It came with thinly sliced candied orange and we were encouraged to incorporate into our buns. We did and found that too sweet. It has the flavor of sweet plum sauce with a lot more citrus. The plum taste is great, but i personally would prefer a bit more acid. There is a very fun cocktail menu and a seasonal menu that featured lobster in black bean sauce. While you don't get the typical voluminous chinese takeout menu, there is a very good selection of dishes. We were impressed and will plan to come back with more people."
