"Aww man…I never leave bad reviews unless it’s really bad and honestly this was the worst fried rice and pan fried noodles I’ve ever had. The rice had little flavor, the chicken in it was mostly cartilage and a bit gray, the pan fried noodles were cold and the BBQ pork on top was insanely greasy and tough. The fried steamed rolls were alright, but some of them smelt strongly like fish, maybe from the cooks hands or the person that prepared our food to go? I’m not totally sure but we weren’t able to eat most of them because of it. I will have to pass next time."
"Every single thing was divinely delicious. Even with the busy-ness of Chinese New Year crowd, the service was quick and very attentive! I'm trying to think of my favorite thing and I just can't pick... the duck, all of the different dumplings, the egg curd, noodles, lotus leaf wrapped rice, tofu patty... it was all amazing!"
"Please don’t judge a book by its cover. The outside of the restaurant is very non descriptive. But, when you get inside it’s so cute. The food is great…. I wish I could tell you what I ordered…. So many things off the Dim Sum menu. Plus we had a soup. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. We will be back!"
"A clean and renovated restaurant. I been here twice in less than a month. Each time the food came out fast! I gotten the honey walnut shrimp each time, and it has been consistent in quality. I gotten the pea sprout twice. I prefer it cooked with garlic. The one with thousand eggs was ok. For 4 people, 4 dishes is plenty. The lamb stone pot has a mix of chestnut, ginger, mushrooms and beancurd. The flavors were good. The lamb didn't taste gamey. Dim sum is all day and we ordered a sponge cake at dinner. It came out last. Parking in chinatown is always tricky even on week nights. Street parking is enforced until 8pm( max 2 hours)."
"If you're out late and need a bite to eat, I highly recommend Hong Kong Bistro. Not many places offer dim sum late at night, let alone past the afternoon. But Hong Kong Bistro offers dim sum for the entirety of the time the restaurant is open. Also, the dim sum is delicious! It hits the spot in all the right places. Not a bland dish in sight! I personally liked the service. They were fast and efficient. Fair warning: If you want your servers to be a little chatty and personable like typical American-style restaurants, this probably isn't the place for you. They make sure to collect your order promptly and get your food to you. It was quite busy when I went, even late at night, and they were still able to serve us our food fairly fast. The dim sum isn't too expensive. It's a great place to bring your friends and family, so you can order a variety of dishes. It's honestly some of the best dim sum I've ever had. My one recommendation would be the egg flower soup! I will definitely be coming back here for all my dim sum cravings."
