Reviews of 16th CAB "Raptor" Dining Facility
"Grand opening for Army Meal Prep Program (AMPP) scheduled for 11 January"
"Honestly not the worst dfac and probably the better choice here on post. Would recommend over the other ones. Though the food can be bland sometimes when it comes to the proteins and the veggies are good as is. There times where the portions are low, but almost filling. However I still prefer this over the other ones."
"One of the best dining facilities in JBLM."
"What's good: It's clean, or it looks clean; It's new and spacious. What's bad: has the poorest food choices out of all JBLM DFACs; the portions of protein aka meat are pathetic; the portions of everything else but salad are pathetic as well; the DFAC is closed a fair amount of time; the JBLM reception goes to eat there - lines are enormous on some days. People who wipe tables are creepy, I support hiring people with disabilities, but it makes it very uncomfortable when you eat and someone wipes the table right in front of you and stares you right in the eye. Typical experience: you go there, you wait in a huge line, you eat a pathetic portion and go home to make up on your protein nutrition with supplements."
"It's a very small facility... for the area it covers. Especially for when there is in processing personnel. Also, it lacks the same items as what is available in other dining facilities. For example: limited choisalad bar, fruit, desert (even though some soldiers don't need, but nice to have), condiments limited for certain types of food servied, and sometimes drinks are out and not kept flowing. There could be more improvements, but over all the staff of soldiers working are friendly and always helpful and respectful to others. Thank you for all your hard work."
