Mason General Hospital Heliport

"I don't always enjoy going to the hospital but when I do go I ALWAYS enjoy eating at "The Bistro" downstairs. This is my favorite restaurant in town. Really, the chef creates healthy and tasty meals. The salad bar is the best in 50 miles. Holy moly this is a tasty buffet and the choices are many. All of the seasonal fruits and veggies you might want. My favorite are my early morning appointments when I get to have breakfast there. I have eggs and bacon and a yummy cup of coffee from a tasty coffee bar that I make myself. It cost's me under $5 and it carries me through till lunch. There's always a home prepared soup and it's tastes exactly like that. We even sneak out and have dinner at the hospital sometimes. Always good. Almost forgot to tell you about the desserts and the muffins and the cake and the cobbler. Yummo!!! This is my hospital story and I'm sticking to it. Breakfast? Lunch or dinner? Check the bistro out at the hospital. It's so good!"

"Was having chest pain and so went to the ER. They got me in immediately, were very professional, and my nurses were so good to me while I was in a scary situation. My Dr was great! I’m very pleased with the care I received!"

"Best small town hospital ever. My wife fell and injured her shoulder. We went to the E.R. on Thursday evening seeking treatment. Registration went smoothly and there was almost no waiting before she was taken back for an exam. Nurses were friendly, efficient and compassionate. The x ray technician was great too. The doctor came in after reviewing the films and was very good about explaining to us what was wrong and what to expect. Total time spent there was less than 90 minuets. Next day we returned to get copies of the records including x ray. Everyone involved was so friendly and helpful. We are not from the area. The people of Mason County are lucky to have such a great hospital."

"The care was excellent. It was very, very busy, so it took a long time, which is understandable. Also, the staff was very efficient and really nice. The medical team extremely professional and and took care of my treatment timely when a room opened up. Also, they followed up with me two times, to be sure everything was good, and gave me add'l information for follow up treatment."
