"Julie was a fantastic waiter. The miso soup is a very large bowl and include tofu and seaweed - a lovely flavor, too. I ordered a side of rice and added a little and was completely satisfied."

"We shop regularly at the alderwood location, and will continue to drive the 20 extra minutes to do so. We went in today for school shoes for our kids. My daughter had pointed at platforms shoes, and I very clearly said no platform shoes. She is accident prone and rolls her ankles easily. The sales associate proceeds to ignore this completely and brings out between 4-6 pairs of shoes all with a platform sole. My daughter is like look how cute. I said I don’t know why we are continuing to try on platform shoes, when I was clear we will not be purchasing them. The sales associate continued encouraging my 11 year old daughter about the vibe and style, and picture wearing them to school. Saying if she can strut across the store she can wear them just fine. When I had already said no we won’t be purchasing platform shoes. It put us in a lousy position. Her dad walked out of the store because he was frustrated, and didn’t want to make a scene. I put all the shoes in the box took my daughter and left. We have never had this experience at the alderwood location and would recommend them."

"Purchased two pairs of shoes for my kids and due to them not being with us, I specifically asked about the return policy. They stated as long as we provide the reciept and the shoes were unworn we'd be able to return them. Upon getting home, the shoes didn't fit right.. we tried bringing the unworn shoes back and they would not exchange or return them due to us not having the box... very frustrating as we would've just waited to buy them if I would've known we couldn't return them!"

"Went shopping with my boyfriend and a friend at this Journeys and all three of us found a nice pair of shoes. Their selection of Converse All stars is great. They didn’t have the best selection of sizes for every brand but I ended up liking the Converse more than what I was browsing to begin with. They were out of stock in my size for the brand Toms and I was offered the chance to try a men’s shoe in my size from their line which I passed. I would say their staff is definitely on the younger side and can be in a bit of a hurry to get you to purchase, but they’re nice kids and the store was in good condition. I felt comfortable trying on shoes there and was able to make a purchase I’ve been happy with, which means the most to me and earns them a great rating."

"My cousin, my sister and I went and had the rudest sales associate. He was this tall guy with a dark brown, wavy man bun. My cousin wanted to try on these sandals which were towards the back of the store but my sister and I sat near the front just for closer access to the WiFi and the guy said to us “You guys should come back here. All the sandals are back here.” I gave him a look, because why should it matter where we sat? We were close enough to my cousin to see the shoes she’s wearing, and the way he looked at us when he said it was so rude. I then told him that no, I would not like to move, and he then preceded to glare at us and give us dirty looks. My cousin then showed us the shoes and my sister and I said it wasn’t that nice on her and so the sales associate says to her “Wow your friends are so mean.” I mean, if he’s going to talk smack about us, say it behind our backs at least. This guy was completely rude and unprofessional. He also tried aggressively to push the sale onto my cousin, who didn’t even want the sandals after trying them on. I’ve never met a more rude sales associate. The three of us were vastly uncomfortable with this man."
