"I am a contractor with the state of Washington and DCYF. As I was supervising a family visit, I watched the family pick out their items and then pay. I stood behind them, as it's my job to observe them. As we were leaving, a homeless looking man and a cashier came out screaming at us to leave and never come back. The family did not steal anything, and I surely didn't steal anything either. I didn't touch a single item in the store. If the cashier felt something was wrong, it should have been addressed right away and not by the dirty man who came out from behind the counter. Regardless, none of us did anything wrong, and the way that man came out yelling, I should have called the police myself because of the safety of the family I'm supervising. Just absolutely ridiculous. He was threatening to hurt us, and we had a child with us. Just absolutely out of line, for not doing anything wrong."
"I had to park here for about 10 to 15 minutes to check on a road issue. When I do this, I usually buy something from a store. But in this case, there was a note on my vehicle telling me parking was for customers only. The parking lot was empty and sign was not needed. Plus, this place always has the highest, or nearly highest, gas prices in Vancouver. I've never purchased from them and with their "notes", I'm not encouraged to try them again. If you stop by here, you better have your wallet ready to buy something or you'll be asked to leave."
"I went there twice in the past three weeks and once you squeeze the handles the fuel doesn’t come out but the cost starts to go up. I tried filling a 2 gallon gas can to test it the second time and it was $1.73 spent before a drop came out. I told the attendant and he said he didn’t know what to do. I sent an email to Chevron on Friday asking about it and have not heard a peep. Avoid this location they’re taking advantage of us."
"Just spent $63 on gas and I have to go in the store to get a receipt. I asked the clerk if that's normal and he kind of shrugged and said yes. I know they do it cuz they hope you'll buy something while you're in there which I will never do. I told him I was my last time in the station. It's a really bothers me to have to sometimes wait in line just to get a receipt. and with covid do we really need to be going in and out of a store unnecessarily."
"Cashier didn't feel comfortable selling my husband beer because my daughter went in the store with him (my daughter has a fair complexion and was picking out flaming hot cheetos ), while I was in the car with baby. He said this is my daughter....meanwhile my daughter left the store and said I'm going to get mom. I came in and said whats the problem...I proceed to show the cashier a family picture of both my children with a fair complexion, my son with a dark complexion, my husband and myself. Then we left without buying anything. Outrageous!"
