"We tried the new Salud Bar and Grill. I think we had different expectations about how this new restaurant would look. We were very surprised it is one very large open room with nothing but tables and chairs in the entire space, along with 22 big screens on all of the walls. To us, this was really a sports bar with none of the interior charm of Famous Dave's, the prior tenant. This place has zero character. We decided to go ahead and give it a try, and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The server first brought chips and salsa. The chips had some sort of seasoning that reminded us a little of a dorrito chip. The salsa was obviously fresh made. It was not hot but had a nice fresh taste. My wife and I split a burrito, and we were glad we did. We ordered ours with lime cilantro rice, refried beans, and pork. The burrito came with sides of green sauce, salsa, and guacamole. The burrito was good but could have used less rice, there was lots, and more pork. The other couple split a beef fajita. They said it was very good. Would we go back, possibly, the food was good, what might stop us is the sports bar atmosphere."
"Food is great!!! Love the taco steak salad. The Austin cheese and guacamole dip is to die for. The fajitas dipped in beef broth is amazing. We even ordered rice on the side to match the generous serving of beef broth. Can’t wait to go back."
"Summary is OK at best. Big open seating, makes it feel a little bit like a chow hall instead of a restaurant. TVs everywhere does make it a decent prospect for a football GameDay spot, but the ram isn't far away and is better at that. The food was decent, the quesabirria was really good and I'd heavily advise getting that if you go. The street tacos were good, but the enchiladas were okay and the refried beans and rice left something to be desired. Definitely not an authentic place and they do claim to be a "tex-mex" location. Couldn't fully understand what that meant after the visit, seemed more like mexican food that was being made by someone who knows nothing about authentic Mexican food. No drink menu for a bar is immensely strange, may be chocked up to still being so new. It was clean, and the servers were very nice and paid good attention to you. Otherwise, don't think we'll be visiting again due to the fact that everything they do there's someplace nearby that does it better. Hoping they shape up as time goes on."
"The quesadillas are amazing! The portions are big, and the deinks are good too. While they don't have a drink menu they do have a full bar. It is family friendly."
"Call bar and grill with no drink menu. The open atmosphere is like a bar, not a restaurant. Ordered sizzling fajitas but not sizzle, not even hot. Corn tortillas were broken in half. Only reason I gave 2 stars was the top round steak used had a good flavor."
