Reviews of Bright Now! Dental & Orthodontics
"If you have a HMO insurance good luck getting a cleaning soon. They will say they don’t have any appointments available until months away even maybe till the year after. They save appointments only for people that have the “good insurance” because the insurance pays more to them than HMO even tho HMO insurance still sends them a check every month regardless if you get treated or not. Good job Bright now in “taking care of patients “. All they care about is money. Not the well being of patients with HMO insurance."
"I came in new to the Southcenter location knowing to show up earlier to fill out paperwork. I signed in and waited. At 3:02p (my appointment was at 3) someone from the back was asking questions at the desk. Then they ask me if I was waiting for someone. I said no, o signed in like you asked and waited. They then had me fill out paperwork. At 3:20 I was done with the paperwork. Another person said I did not have to fill out paperwork all the way because I was transferring from another bright dental. Then they said the person could most likely do my cleaning while I was there after the x rays. I was like that would be great. Then I got x rays and then saw the doctor and he was like okay schedule a cleaning. If you are not going to mention cleaning that day don’t say that. What started out what would have been a Appointment at 3 and probably out by 3:30p turned into a getting there at 2:40 and not leaving till 4:02pm with nothing of the cleaning mentioned past the first person. Cleaning is out in February now. I almost just said I am going to find another office, but reluctantly said schedule. Still considering switching because of this day at a new office. I gave 2 stars due to the x ray tech and doctor"
"My family has several issues - I continue to get reminder calls for appointments that aren’t for me. -my husbands cavity fell out during Covid, when we tried making an emergent appointment we were told that this wasn’t considered an emergency! They made an appointment for months later. Once in he texted me saying the only thing that could be done was removal of the tooth, I thought he hadn’t heard correctly and had him call and put me on speaker. They again said that removal was the only option, which we went through with. -The last appointment my husband went to he was charged his usual $15 dollar copay and then told he had another $30 dollar payment, when asked about the front desk staff told him he’s always paid the other $30 dollar fee in addition to our co pay. He paid and left, when I called to question no one could tell me what the $30 fee was or why he was charged, nor would they refund. - my daughter had her wisdom teeth removed and she woke during surgery and stated she was really scared, they did get her back to sleep but again when I tried calling to discuss no one knew what I was talking about. They also charged her an additional $200+ fee for the additional medication needed to put her back to sleep to finish removal. The D.A’s have been kind I would not recommend to anyone. We missed Open Enrollment for City of Seattle but next year we wi change our Dental plan!"
"I had a positive experience here. It was two root canals that I had done and it was super quick and painless. I saw this Bright Now didn’t get that great of reviews (I forgot which site I saw this on, I think Google) but I just wanted to leave a good review because I didn’t have any problems. The dentist sounded like he was from Germany (I’m not 100% sure because I’m uncultured) and I enjoyed listening to his accent. So that was nice."
"My experience there was awful disrespectful. I’m mad at myself because I should’ve spoke up and said stop, but I let it go on. She was real loud. She was really rough. She did not talking to me, but talking down to me like oh I couldn’t understand. I understand perfectly. Well What she was trying to say to me. She was really really rough. Pulling my jaws real hard. She was very rude. My experience hands down awful."
