"have used self serve twice, they have great prices and the guys are really helpful, the only reason for 4 stars is the visits were nearly a year apart and their bearing press was still not fixed so again I had to go across the street and pay 50 to have my old bearing pulled and new one pushed, but the owner, George, was awesome and have me a price break since he thought it was fixed. great place to work on your vehicle if you're not familiar or don't have the workspace. DEFINITELY recommend"

"Living in an apartment makes it difficult to do simple jobs such as an oil change or brakes. This is an ingenious idea, as I love to work on my own car. They are knowledgeable and friendly and are willing to guide you through a step if you get stuck. This is the place I will be bringing my vehicles to when there is a job I can do. It is worth the money just to have access to a lift."

"Great place to change your oil and work on your car. You have access to 3 lifts and tools if you need them. I don't have my own garage to work on my car so I use this shop for all my oil changes. Recently I rented a bay for 6 hours installing coil-overs on my car. Having an lift and air tools at your disposal saves so much time and it only cost 1/3 of what a shop would charge. I live in north seattle so it takes me a good 30 to 40 minutes to make the trip but it's worth it. I highly recommend Self Service Garage in kent."
