"A couple of years back, my old ICE vehicle died. I bought a gently used 2017 Leaf with the idea of upgrading it. Well, it took me another couple of years, but I finally did it back in January. EV Rides hooked me up with a 62kWh pack that's almost like new! I knew what I was getting into originally, but with the upgrade, it's like night and day. Driving around town, I only charge once a week now, and road tripping is actually practical again. Kudos to these guys providing a valuable service while new EV's are still quite expensive. I have a slick, functional car for way less. My service is backed by a warranty. The whole process was relatively painless, transport from Seattle was arranged, and I was kept well in the loop on the steps and progress. Happy customer over here."
"Quick review - About a month ago, I had EV Rides replace the battery in my 2012 Leaf, and honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Would highly recommend if you're looking to replace the battery in your Leaf. Full review - I've always wanted an electric car, so when I saw a 2012 Leaf for only $4500 back in 2019, I jumped at the chance. The battery originally got 68 miles on a full charge (24kWh battery), which was enough for my daily drives around town. However, by December 2023, the battery was only giving me 38 miles on a full charge, and I had to charge it daily, because of having to use the heater. I started looking for a new affordable electric car and came across an ad for EV Rides on Craigslist offering battery replacement and upgrades. The only problem was that their shop was a 2-hour drive from my town, so I wasn't sure how I would get the car there. Even so I decided to go ahead and give them a call and see if they could help me. After leaving a voice message I got a call back from Guillermo, he was able to answer all my questions and explained that they could arrange transportation for my car with a tow company, which cost me $250 one way. After a bit of planning, my car was towed to EV Rides, and they replaced the battery the same day. The new battery is at 83% battery health and gets 78 miles on a full charge (24kWh battery). A months has passed and I can honestly say that I'm very satisfied with the battery replacement. I can now drive around and use the heater without worrying about my mileage. I expect to drive worry-free for another 5-6 years before needing to think about the battery again. When that day comes, I'll definitely contact EV Rides again."
"After months of lurking in online Nissan LEAF forums, reading customer reviews, and watching YouTube videos about the LEAF, I noticed that EV Rides was highly recommended numerous times. I made an appointment and test drove a LEAF with Guillermo. He was patient, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. In spite of the showroom and office not being much to look at, they more than make up for it in honesty, fair pricing and not being pushy. After that initial visit, I waited a few months more, carefully monitoring their ads before seeing a car I wanted (2017 SV) that came into their inventory, and then upgraded the original battery (30kwh 67% SOH) to a 40kwh 91% SOH battery on Guillermo's recommendation. Note that they are limited to batteries they have on hand. And ask to check the battery you want with LeafSpy (they will gladly do this) - the State of Health is very important (these are used batteries, and while some can be barely used, others have had more use). New inventory for both cars and batteries seems to come in randomly. They will also gladly send you the CARFAX report for the car you are interested in. Anton went above and beyond by personally delivering some needed paperwork to our home. Thank you EV Rides! We are definitely happy customers."
"Many thanks to Guillermo and EV Rides for helping us successfully breathe new life into our 2013 Leaf. We bought our Leaf new 10 years ago and the car is still in great shape, but the battery pack was getting tired... when it was cold out, the range was down to ~65 miles. We decided to upgrade with EV Rides to a 40 kWh battery pack, and the whole process was super smooth and easy. Now we are driving with power and confidence. Thanks, Guillermo."
"These guys really know what they're doing. I just bought a Nissan LEAF from them and couldn't be happier. They are not like other dealerships that try to sell you things you don't need. They are passionate about EVs and are extremely professional in every way. Great cars at great prices and you know they put thought and care into every vehicle. Guillermo was very considerate with us and we knew that we were making the right choice buying from EV Rides. I know this car will be reliable and I feel much safer in it than a gas car! They are extremely knowledgeable, even showing us Leafspy, an app that connects to the car's computer that shows all sorts of information that the car doesn't show by itself. Charging cable was provided, as well as the OBDII dongle accessory for the app. If you're looking for a reliable refurbished/used EV, they are the place to go."
