"I had their device installed on my vehicle so I could obtain a hardship permit then I was denied the permit. I had it in my vehicle for less than 30 days. I payed the automotive shop $100.00 for install. Sperate from that, intoxalock charged my account on 3 separate occasions in that 30 days. $212.99, $102.49, $39.99. When I found out I was not going to be able to drive I had the device removed. That cost me $125.00. So I paid $580.47 for products and services that that I never got to use. During this time I had never signed a contract and a week after I had it removed they tried to charge me an additional $242.99 for a early termination fee. Do not do business with these people, they will drain your bank account."
"Contrary to Intoxalock ads..their services are not the lowest rates in WA state. More like THE HIGHEST. Install and start up fees. The salesperson gave a monthly price and said they billed every 2 weeks. Did not disclose the price he gave was the every two week price. Installed in Vancouver WA .After 6 weeks I wrecked my car in Portland, they wouldn't send anyone to remove the device. Even though it was only 8 miles from install shop. Some garbage about insurance because it was in Oregon.. So I removed camera and blow device and sent it back. They are charging me $1500.00 because the wiring harness was unrecoverable. I went to a different company that had free install and 30.00 less per month for monitoring. LifeSafer. 6 weeks later I am still getting phone calls and texts from Intoxalock about my past due monitoring account and non compliance with monitor and calibration. Really??? I have spoken to customer service 3 or 4 times about this. Apparently they are incompetent with account updating and communication. Also when you call them expect to be on hold for up to 45 minutes."
"mixed emotions... the units themselves work amazing and true.. the customer care.... calling in, getting things resolved getting a call back when told. A big fat 1 and that's just because I've had one customer representative actually follow through and help resolve the problem rather than hang up, transfer me, tell me they're fixing the issue (really probably just scrolling social media) out of ooohhh. since the first call pretty much .. so..... mixed emotions."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. They fraudulently charged my card without my authorization when inquiring about the services. Live representative my fiance spoke to named Julie was aggressive, dishonest and unethical. She told my fiance she needed my authorization before processing the payment and right after asked him for his VIN number and License number. We were not home at the time so that was impossible to provide. He explained this to her and said he would call back when we got home she then informed him that the transaction was made even though she said before that, that she needed to speak to me before authorizing the payment. She had not spoken to me as of yet. This is NOT ok. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau."
"I haven't dealt with this company but my father currently is. Their system has drained my father's car battery twice and they won't do anything to fix it. If he gets locked out, they charge him $75 to restart the unit. I will be taking this to corporate to file a formal complaint in order to get a refund and will take our business elsewhere. Also the customer service is very unhelpful."
