"I've been a patient here for over 40 years, 1st off this review was done by me without any request from Smiles NW, from the time you walk through the door quality care begins, the staff are very friendly, Heather at the front desk has been there as long as I've been a patient, I think that alone says a lot about work environment from the inside. There team of hygienists are all great at cleaning teeth, my favorite is Nicole, when she cleaned my teeth the first time I was seriously impressed. The Dentists, Chen & Dotson are smart, skilled & kind, a great place for both adults & kids to get care without intimidation, my son who is an adult now has NO cavitys 0, nata, he received all his care here growing up, never any fear or anxiety about going, that's huge from a young persons perspective. they give a cash pay discount, that helps the un insured like myself, nowadays I see Dr Chen, he is a great Dentist, he always takes the time to discuss options for care & helps me figure out the best plan, he's easy to talk to & gives off a truly friendly vibe. No one really wants to go to the dentist but we all want to keep our teeth, not only to eat & smile but for good health & long life, I will continue driving the 120 miles round trip to get the best dental care I've found anywhere, one simple reason TRUST."

"Steer clear. Find an honest dental practice. No notification that they were out of network for my insurance (me + 3 kids). They decided to milk it by giving x-rays that were not due, which they knew if they looked at any prior records. Should I have looked up the dentist on my Blue Cross insurance? Yes. But I would also expect an honest business to be up front about whether they are in network, instead of pointing to their website that misleadingly states that they take most insurance"

"After years of my family and I being customers of Smiles Northwest, we had enough. The lack of professionalism by the staff, overpriced treatment options, missing transparency, and inaccurate assessments have all been contributing factors to switch dental providers-if I could give a lesser rating I certainly would. Time and again, Smiles failed to pause and do an exam/treatment while opting to aggressively push for more costly procedures, restoration work, etc. As a customer, I believe that if a priority was placed on exams and cleanings a lot of the additional dental work could have been mitigated. When faced with no option but to do restoration work, these procedures are astronomically priced compared to competitors and simple procedures like a root canal have to be outsourced to an overpriced specialist. This is just one example of the “money-grabbing” tactics of this dental office. Simply put-seek other dental options in the region, you will be better off as a customer."

"My family and I love Smiles Northwest! My boys (8 and 14), my husband and I get our teeth cleaned by friendly and professional hygienists and dentists. Dr. Chen and Dr. Dotson are kind and very knowledgeable. I love Smiles NW because the front desk staff call and text me friendly reminders, I know the hygienists well and I look forward to hearing how the dentists can help our teeth stay healthy!
