"Back in 2017 I went to Duane Moore's office for a checkup, including a full set of x-rays. Duane Moore sat me down and said I had TWO upper molars with cracks, and they could break any time, it was critical that I get crowns on both teeth. I paid for one and put money down for the second. The first crown never set right, from the first moment I told him it was striking my bottom tooth and affected my bite. He made an attempt to fix it but could not and sent me home. I was so upset that I got my money back for the second "critical" crown and never went back to any dentist until today, 6 years later. My tooth went from being a perfectly fine healthy tooth, to a cursed husk of irritation. The way he created the crown not only destroyed my bite, it made a large gap that collects food daily like a pocket. Despite diligent daily Waterpik use, flossing, brushing, rinsing, etc, it bothers me every day. So today I went to a new dentist who took 18 x-rays of my mouth. He complemented me on the state of my teeth and gums, except he found a large decay in the tooth that butts up to the crown, obviously because of the food collecting pocket, so I'll need that filled. I asked him about the crack in my other tooth. I'm sure by this point you can guess that there was no crack, there was never any crack. My new dentist told me that if there was a fracture that serious I would have felt at least sensitivity if not pain, and of course, it would have broken at some point in the SIX subsequent years. Duane Moore is the owner of the famous "black houses" in Olympia, and drives a dilapidated steampunk car. As a colleague once remarked, and I can never forget it, "I wouldn't trust a dentist who has that level of fixation on decay." I wish I would have heard that one chilling sentence before I ever set foot in Duane Moore's office. I can only hope to help at least one person with this review."

"There should be more dentists like Dentist Moore. He is very honest and only does what needs to be done to fix the problem with your teeth. Very reasonable on his pricing. We have been going to him for about 10 years."

"As soon as I step to window Dr. Moore capable assistant actually smiled and asked me, Hows my day? I'm at the DENTIST OFFICE! "My day Just a Peach so far"! Then to my dismay she takes me right back, I wanted too have to wait an stew some more like my other Dr's office! Then, I just can't believe it, Doc comes right in an actually smiled an talked to me too, oh I'm upset now! Then he has the beans to put a pain killer on me before my shot! How dare him! I wanted to feel the moment an the pain! Then to compound my frustration, when I wanted to talk he's got his fingers in my mouth! Now I'm livid, his capable assistant actually smiled and put a cool compress on my forehead, how can I vent off steam with a cool compress cooling me down?! Dang, thinking back they both did everything the best they could, I'm going to have to give a "FIVE", Dang! Tim & Harley"

"I've been bringing my family to Dr Moore for more than ten years for all of our care. I LOVE his office, there is no nonsense ritualistic rigamarole like at most dentists, you get in quickly. Dr Moore is extremely nice, he's honest, gentle and efficient, also his fillings look and feel great and stay in! Even though I always choose composite. He sometimes doesn't bother with a shot for a small filling which is great, and just keeps the tooth cool instead. Honestly the shot hurts more and I'm more scared of needles than of fillings! He designed a special bridge for me that I actually ended up liking (the idea of a regular bridge kinda grossed me out). And Brandi is incredibly nice!"
