"Exceptional care and great atmosphere. Having just read the review from 3 months prior to this I want to say I have never experienced anything like that if this is to be believed then I wish to say as so.eone who has had a major amount of work done by him as well as prior dentists that he is what I wish all my prior dentists had been like. He was very aware of the pain level I was in and stopped each time he sensed the least distress to offer further injections as needed. Having extracted teeth that generally would have left fragments in the gum he was able to do so without leaving any behind. He worked diligently on my dentures and having taken many fittings to guarantee the proper for and appearance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!"

"I usually don't write reviews but if I can save someone from a similar experience that I had, I'm doing it. I went to Densley Dental in Elma, WA for the first time on October 9th for a check up and cleaning and to get established as a new patient. I got there 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I should've known something wasn't right when I heard the woman ahead of me crying out in pain about once a minute. I thought maybe she was just extra sensitive. I met Dr. Densley who seemed nice enough. He asked the general questions and started taking x-rays. He never told me he was going to take 18 x-rays of my mouth! The receptionist was there taking notes but then she left and he started the cleaning. We were the only two in the room and since he didn't have an assistant, he just hooked the suction tube to the side of my cheek. It was hanging there so I took it and asked him if I could hold it. It was too heavy hanging on the corner of my mouth. He said that was fine. So, I was the assistant. I've never had a doctor give a cleaning before. At first it seemed ok, but he just got rougher and rougher with my mouth, scraping away at my teeth. I had even told him during the intake that I am prone to TMJ and I need to be careful with my jaw. At one point I couldn't handle the pain he was inflicting and I had to stop him and tell him to not be so rough. He said "oh" and was slightly more gentle for about 30 seconds then went back to being aggressive and rough. I could feel the scraping tool ripping into my gums. I saw blood everywhere! I've never in my life tasted that much blood while having a cleaning done. (After I left, I still tasted blood for about an hour). When he rinsed out my mouth the water went all over my cheeks and flooded my neck. Then he did the polishing. The little bits of grit were flying all over my face and some got into my eyes. He didn't give me any glasses to wear to protect my eyes. Another flooding after the polish. He didn't floss my teeth but thank God because all I can think of is more pain from that. He said I didn't have any cavities, he didn't have to remove much plaque and my teeth were actually pretty clean. It sure didn't feel that way! I asked him where the bathroom was and he said something about me needing to clean up after that. I told the receptionist about my experience before I left and she said she was sorry and would let him know. I've had biannual cleanings since I was a kid and I've NEVER experienced anything like that before. I can't ever imagine going to him for anything else after that. I left with a SEVERE headache from being so tense and him being so rough with my mouth. It didn't leave until after I took pain medication the next day. It's been two days and my gums are still sore. And for the record, I have a fairly high pain tolerance. I've had close to 40 fillings, 3 extractions, 6 root canals, 4 crowns and a bridge. So, I'm not new to dental work. I feel bad giving such an awful review but truly, it was THAT bad. I would give no stars if I could."
