Reviews of Evergreen Dentistry
"I'm really happy being a patient here. Dr. Howrey is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and gentle. The hygienist is also very good and especially helpful with recommendations about dental care between cleanings. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The office is tiny - one of many in the Dupont building complex - but super comfortable, with lots of magazines and a coffee bar. I recommend Evergreen for children and adults alike."
"What a fabulous experience. I had an issue with my front tooth and needed to be seen quickly and Evergreen Dentistry was able to get me in so fast! I was a new patient, so we did painless X-rays and an exam before my front tooth was addressed. The whole process was fast, painless, and done with quality. I highly recommend this establishment and Dr. Howrey. Thank you so much!!"
"When I was a small child I had horrible dental anxiety from having so many cavities. i got older and in high school was completely fine with going to the dentist but still had several cavities. After moving to bellingham for school I needed to find a new dentist so I could get regular cleanings. I started out with no anxiety and after having go get several fillings. Of which two went just fine but then the work started to get worse and worse, I’ve now realized after reading other reviews that I also had the issue of uneven finishes that will still cut my dental floss. The biggest problem I had was that I was having sensation in my teeth after being numbed several times in my lower jaw. In fact, I was given even more numbing than usually necessary and my top set of teeth never had this problem.I could feel zinging pain shooting through my mouth while they were drilling into my mouth. I could tell myself it was a one off situation and try to not let it effect me for one appointment but I had the same issue for other fillings. In these other filling appointments happened I was gas-lit by Dr.Howrey into thinking that it was pressure and not pain. I left multiple times in tears and my final appointment they didn’t even finish. I still have issues with my lower teeth and overall teeth sensitivity. I’ve also realized from other reviews that my tooth sensitivity also seemed to have gotten worse around the time I was being seen by that dentist. The biggest factor that is still making a large impact is the anxiety sureounding these procedures. I now have the worst anxiety surrounding dentistry that has directly negatively impacted me. I can’t even think about going to the dentist with out wanting to cry and feeling panic-y. i’ve put off detal procedures because I am terrified to go to my new dentistry place that is specialized for dentistry anxiety. It has been more than 2 years since I’ve been seen at this practice and I am still experiencing negative effects. Everyone has to make their own decisions and I had several appointments that were fine but I figured I should put some kind of honest review and this is how I’ve been affected. I know no one means to put people in worse situations and we all only want to help but I’ve been struggling to move on and have a normal relationship with my dentist since these experiences. I can’t sit down in the dentist chair without being heavily medicated. Best of luck to everyone and I hope you find a good fit for yourself. Don’t settle for anything!"
"Really enjoyed my experience at this dentist office today. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and really put me at ease the entire time. I wasn’t expected to talk while getting my teeth cleaned which was amazing and they even put on my favorite music. Customer service was incredible and you can tell they really care about people."
"Good team work here I noticed right off which makes for a positive patient experience as this was my first visit to Evergreen Dental. A minor Dental emergency and my good friends recommendation brought me to the clinic. Plus I was looking for a new dentist as mine had just retired. Dr.Howery gave me a couple of options after checking out my minor dental emergency, a crown. Then followed through with the work and I was on my way. Calm, thorough and gentle would describe the procedure."
