"Fantastic dive bar. A treasure to the area that I hope spans another 3 centuries. Food is a good value, has pull-tabs and Smokes in the vending. Beautiful view of the lake, pool tables, sports on TV, always spectacular people and employees. Couldn't be better"
"Nice dive bar in the middle of star lake. It’s got drinks and food that are what you expect from a dive bar. Sometimes bennys food truck is parked outside definitely recommend getting that food it’s so good and he does a special menu every time I’ve seen it . Other than that good views of the lake parking is usually open what’s not to like."

"This is one of those places you don't want to judge just from the outside appearance. This bar has some real history to is. As the sign says it has now been operating during three distinct centuries. The Star Lake Inn is found on a little travelled road along a lake in what could be considered a residential área. Having been open in the late 1800s, it used to be a stopping point for soldiers and others travelling Military Road. The staff is friendly and the view looking over the lake on a snowy day is almost magical."
