"Our party of 5 came for Christmas Dim Sum. Was worried about the reviews but our experience far exceeded expectations. They seated us quickly. Food was so good, very typical of other Dim Sum I’ve had previously and quite a variety. They had the baked cart, fried cart, and a cart with walnut shrimp and noodles. When we asked for specific items like custard buns they knew exactly where it would be or went and grabbed some for us. Pretty spacious atmosphere and you don’t feel rushed at all. Service was excellent. All of the family was satisfied when we left. Will be back."
"12/2/23: Good dim sum here. Outstanding are the honey bbq pork pastry buns and they have the best egg tarts I've ever had. There's another custard dessert that comes with evaporated milk that's also very good."
"The dim sum menu is great, and the food quality, and taste is good too. However, the service I received at the cashier’s counter was terrible! There was a gentleman at the cashier’s counter who treated me like I was a criminal, because I paid with a debit card, and not cash. Yes my order was only $14. However, I was a single guest who came to enjoy the dim sum menu special. Sorry, I don’t have the appetite nor the budget to afford $20 or more for lunch. After all this was a lunch special right….. Honestly, I now wonder, does your restaurant care about the guest, and food you serve, or simply the money your make? I am familiar with your restaurant, and it is very popular. Especially on the weekends. Many families, and friends come in to dine. With lines out the doors. So I am certain your business is doing well. Including the fact, besides your dim sum menu that is offered on a limited lunch special, everything on your menu is priced quite high. Which understandably, most traditional Chinese family style restaurants are. The gentleman at the cashiers counter told me to bring cash next time for anything under $20. He treated me rudely, snatched the pen I tried to use to sign my check, as apparently I was supposed to use the other pen on the desk, did not even look at me, or thank me for coming in etc. I was treated terribly! All because I paid with a debit card. I understand you have a business to run. However, I was still a paying customer. Honestly, I don’t think there will be a next time. I can go down the street to Fashion Dim Sum. They do not treat their guests this way."
"By far, it was the worst Roast Duck I've ever experienced in my life. The duck was fully cooked. Unfortunately, it must have been around for a while as most of the moisture had left the meat. The "Sauce" was watery, which is not typical of a plum or Hoison sauce. The scallions were old and floppy. The duck itself was very expensive and still covered in pin feathers. I can understand a few pin feathers, but not as many as were on this duck. The wait staff were annoyed we were even in the place. They never checked on us or how we were doing. I even had to flag them down as they had not brought all the food I had ordered. In the end, we left all of the food you saw behind. The waiter asked if we wanted a box to go, and we said no. They didn't even care that we didn't eat most of it, as this must be a common occurrence. After lunch, we walked the few feet to Ranch 99. In the hot food section, they had the EXACT same duck hanging for less than 1/3rd the price. Also, their ducks had the same dried out problem and were covered with pin feathers as well. The lady who helped us told us not to get the duck and had us buy the deep-fried smelt and white fish. Those were actually amazing. My advice is never, and I mean, never ever, eat here. The food is terrible. Service is non-existent. The restrooms were unsanitary. The live fish tank...well, yeah, go see for yourself."
"Took my parents here for my mom's birthday so I let her handle the ordering. We got the fish. I mean it was literally a previously live fish that they brought out and showed to us (and several entertained tables) then cut it up for soup, appetizer, and main course. It reminded me of the restaurants from my childhood, so plus points for nostalgia. Food was pretty good and service was on point. They noticed our plates were full of bones and swung by to swap them out for us. Twice. They brought us extra bowls for the soup and soy sauce dipping. Overall, enjoyed my experience, but would recommend going with someone who can order in Chinese."
