"Okay, did not know Seattle was a biscuit city but apparently it is and I’m all for it. I had the biscuit and pork gravy, and my first bite was all gravy and I was like this is okay. BUT THEN I had a bite of the biscuit and I was like WOAHHHHH okay! Best biscuit I’ve ever had. I wanted to have another one just plain but that would have made me very, very full (in a not good way) so I stopped myself. Also obsessed with the sesame milk option for drinks. I want to try it with the honey butter, tomato jam, garlic butter, and bacon jam- you know what if I get to go here again I’ll just get a buttermilk biscuit with a topping buffet. Yep, that’s the plan."
"The Spanish fly biscuit sandwich is SO good! Stopped by Morsel as part of a self-guided Seattle food tour and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is alive with the hustle & bustle of fellow foodies partial to the popularity of this staple spot. Love the variety of biscuit options!"
"A place that’s reminiscent of your kindergarten classroom but with food that’s top notch. They have a good balance of savory and sweet options, and the sandwiches are never too sweet or savory. The biscake comes with a lot of sweet toppings but the buttermilk biscuit underneath balances them out with its flaky, slightly salty taste. The cheddar chive biscuit goes really well with most savory options."
"Tried 3 most popular dishes. 1. Most delicious, biscuits & gravy. Hands down. 2. The Spanish fly - the buttermilk biscuits are so creamy good. On this breakfast sandwich, they melted a cheese that steals the creamy goodness of the biscuits and mutes it with a salty cheese. I ate it enjoyably once I dug out the cheese. 3. The Fast Break sandwich - had a red sauce my friend didn't care for because it had cumin. She scrapped it off and enjoyed the sandwich."
"Stopped in because of the good reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint! Food and coffee was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh. Service was very friendly and kind. Will definitely come back! Just a heads up for those who care. It is open seating so I did have to wait a few min for a table and you have to bus your own table. But it is upfront and posted, no issue to me."
