"It’s been a while between visits and I was shocked that hummus isn’t included anymore for the gyros… I had to make two separate charges bc the hummus is now extra? I don’t think I’ll be back which is sad bc I used to love going to pita pit."

"It's usually not too busy here most days. Went in on Sunday and had to wait over 10 minutes just for my order to be taken and the only acknowledgement I got was a slight hello when I walked through the door and that was it until the girl finally took my order."

"I will never return. I got a pita and it was missing have the things I ordered. Also feel like I was ripped of. I'll never eat there again. If I could give it a 0 rating I would. Stay clear of this place or you'll walk out with less money in your pocket and a bad you taste in your mouth. This place used to be good. Not anymore.."

"My friend and I ate lunch here on July 8. We only saw one person working the front counter and she was not very friendly. When I asked if I could have whole wheat for my pita bread choice, she acted frustrated with me and said, “I have the mixed kind…whole wheat and plain, is that okay?” I said it wasn’t because I had some gluten issues. I shouldn’t have to explain myself to a restaurant worker. I then asked if I could have gluten free. She said, “Yes.” I have issues also with dairy. True story. So I asked for, “No cheese.” She asked me a personal question, “Are you lactose intolerant? What symptoms do you have?” I said it gave me headaches.” She said, “Interesting.” That was not her business to pry like that. This young person needs to learn some simple manners in how to relate to people, especially an older person like me. Also, the food turned out to be pretty bad. I got the BLT pita and the whole thing tasted “off”. Poor flavor and the bacon was over cooked. The whole restaurant was dirty…tables were not wiped down. My friend and I found old, dried food on our table. The floor needed sweeping and mopping. It just appeared like no one cared. Once I got home I washed my hands and arms really well with hot soap and water because who knows what kind of germs I could have picked up there. There was a customer who came in and waited to be helped. She asked my friend and me, “Is anyone working here?” I told her there was a young woman who had waited on us and it appeared she was in the back of the restaurant somewhere. I suggested to the waiting customer to “phone” the restaurant to grab the woman’s attention. The customer waited for maybe 10 minutes, even rattled her keys to make noise. No one came out to help her. She finally walked out pretty disgusted. Way to go, Pita Pit. You lost a customer and a sale. I know for sure I’ll never come back here to eat. I felt unsafe, the place was unclean and dirty, and the employee was rude and didn’t seem to care about the customers. Not good at all. I don’t usually post bad reviews, but this experience was so unacceptable and so bad, I had to say something just for the sake of the greater good."

"Walking inside, I didn't realize how filthy the floors and table, and bathroom were until we had to wait 20 minutes for our food. Does Pita Pit have one person working on Sunday? Which had me concerned for the person's well-being. The person working alone was super friendly and accommodating. Customer service was not an issue. My issue is the visible dirt & food scattered across the floor and tables. I am not sure after 20 minutes why I didn't ask for a refund. The food was mediocre—$ 30 for a pita and bowl. People may think the food tastes good out of hunger or those trying to sober up from drinking. I am surprised the Health Department hasn't shut this establishment down with an F+. The bathroom was so dirty & disgusting with grime & hair all over the floors and sink & toilet. I had to walk out of the bathroom. Please clean your restaurant. I will not be returning to this establishment."
