"This was delicious. I was looking for something not too expensive, not too heavy, and this spot really ticked off all the boxes. I've been to the location on the east side but it was nice to have something downtown. It was a small location, but easy to order and unlimited hot tea. Service was great, excited to go back!"
"This is what Thai comfort food is like. I tried the chicken and rice with a side of fried chicken skin. The sauce really makes it for the chicken and rice. It brought back fond memories of eating this in Bangkok, Thailand."
"WOW…simple, insanely flavorful and absolutely brilliant. Hands down one of my favorite meals, don’t let the simplicity scare you away or you’re missing out on a massive hidden gem. The chicken is perfectly poached, flavorful rice the ginger sauce you drizzle over is outstanding while the soup broth is wonderful. Khao Man"
"Average Chicken rice, it’s all chicken breast without skin, so it tastes more chewy and dry. But the sauce and the soup are better than expected! Definitely try the pork rice from the same restaurant at SE, personally recommend it more than chicken rice!"
"Second time having khao man gain, the first time I had it was a couple years ago at the food truck and it was light but flavorful. This time around everything seemed pretty flavorless. Chicken was tender and moist but needed some more flavors. Broth was bland and the chicken skin was a bit underwhelming. The pepper sauce saved the dish as it added some kick and much needed lift in flavor. We ordered the peanut sauce since everyone raves about it but it was just a really expensive satay sauce and nothing to write home about."
