"Bloomies is the smaller format of regular Bloomingdale’s so it’s expected to be smaller but I still found a lot of stuff there. There was a high quality men’s cashmere jacket that was Bloomingdale’s own brand. I didn’t know they had their own brand. The staff are really helpful and genuinely friendly, also the guy manager (I think he was a manager)."

"This is basically just a smaller footprint Bloomingdale’s. They’re trying to rebrand I think, but everything is very expensive, in my opinion. I also had a really annoying return experience, which is very much them just trying to force people into their store. I bought two things and used a $25 gift card. I tried to return the more expensive item and keep an item that cost around $32. They would not do a refund for the full amount to my credit card. They were forcing part of the refund onto part credit card and part gift card. They claimed the system won’t let them do anything, but I know from working in retail that a manager can override. I don’t plan on going back, especially after this experience, so I didn’t want a $20 gift card. Now I have to go back and return both items then rebuy the item I want to keep with the gift card. Not great customer service for a new store and brand trying to build loyalty."

"As a regular Bloomingdale's shopper from the east coast, I was so excited for Bloomies to open in Seattle. My experience today was great. William in the shoe department was charming and so helpful. Annika was lovely and so patient processing my purchase, as one of promo cards on my account wasn't showing up in person. The manager who assisted was incredible and resolved the issue beyond my expectations. I regret I did not get his name, but he was so great! So happy to have a bloomies in Seattle!"
