Reviews of Lassi & Spice SLU
"Went here after a run. Staff weren't welcoming and food was cold. Still enjoyed my Masala Chai on a chilly day, but the taste pales in comparison to other Chais I've tasted in Seattle. Would loosely recommend if you live in the area and need a quick fix of Indian food/drinks; otherwise, there are better alternatives nearby."
"None of the items were fresh. We liked Pav bhaji, misal pav. It was ok type: samosa plate, bhel puri. We didn’t like Poha, idli sambar, vada pav. I had worst lassi ever: Pistachio lassi"
"Cool nice indian place. I liked the interior design to match with Indian vibes. We ordered Poha and Idli sambhar, poha quantity was small tbh compared to the price. Most of the dishes are breakfast dishes and prices are bit on high end. Idli sambhar was nice. And masala chai was just a dip dip chai and not the real one. But in a city of Seattle that was good. There was also a complimentary Parle G. Staff were ok. Not too nice not too rude."
"Joke of a restaurant in the name of Indian food. Very overpriced. Almost $9 for a large mango lassi with hardly any taste & extremely sweet. I asked what all go in it - Hate the cardamom in it had to get the spice mix omitted from it. It's like a mango syrup they put in & not fresh at all. Bhelpuri puri was very small quantity for the price out of pocket & too sweet & too watery chutney. They are charging entree price for an appetizer. Hardly any onion tomato potatoes.Who pays $4-5 almost for a samosa that's not even good. Poha was also nothing special & lots of peanut in it, again a very small bowl, like a tiny side portion.I didn't feel like buying anything else here. If I'm very very very hungry.....- maybe I will have one samosa here . I'm not returning here , they need to up their taste in making the food & lower their prices. Ambience also not that great . No parking available."
