"This place is everything a brick and mortar store should be - it's a unique and personal place that perfectly serves its market. They have a great selection of everything they carry, everyone is knowledgeable and happy to help, and the store is just a fun place to be. The store's been in the owners family since 1919, and you can clearly feel that from the care and attention he and the staff give to both the customers and the store itself. The place is a true Portland landmark, and worth visiting if you need a new jacket, boots, or just a cool place to wander."

"This store is a Portland landmark. Although many of us are now leery of going downtown, it wasn't all that bad. There's plenty of available parking on the street and a pay lot. It's super easy to find, just a few blocks over the Morrison bridge. Corner of 3rd and Oak. Inside is everything you want for western wear. Or even Levi's, Levi coats- way more than the the Levi store. Of course there is plenty of hats, belts, boots to look at but that is just the beginning. Upstairs is the women's wear. Although more limited, 4 of us easily found beautiful shirts for an upcoming event. The manager Josh was super nice and helpful, I'll be back and I reccomend you check it out. I'd rather spend my money here than a big corporation!"

"Iconic western store with everything from boots to hats in a beautiful old building in Downtown Portland. Three stories to explore and a good selection of saddles and tack. Amazing customer service that’s hard to find these days, so glad I finally stopped in."
