Reviews
"Well this store just lost my local business. If your hours are open until 7:00 pm you should sell things until 7:00 not count the till at 6:50 then turn customers away because you didn't want to recount the till. Very disappointing and frustrating not a good way to do business."
"If you're here... you know it's the only place to go for about 30 miles. It stands a typical rural grocery store: higher prices, a lot more close-dated items, much smaller selection, bathrooms always closed, shorter hours, very minimal staff. BUT like I said, it's the only larger grocer within like, 30+ miles. You traded those factors for the convenience of existing in a rural community, plus I find it almost gratuitous that they do have a separate section where they run a small liquor store. Parking is always a breeze, and believe it or not they have a few newer looking bottle return machines outside around back. It's a typical little-town store."
"Well.. ingo there quite a bit since my daughter lives right down the road. It's kinda irritating that I have to check the expiration date in EVERY ITEM I buy or I find it very close to being expired or already expired. It happened with some lemonade I recently purchased. I didn't break the seal but instead returned it the next morning because it was expired and brown. Since everyone is a local and we all recognize faces I didn't think much about it when returning it but I was unable to without a receipt I thought that was odd. We all TRUST MCISAACS to sell us good food products why don't theybtrust us to return them without a receipt for a simple exchange?????"
"First time in the market in several years. Went in today to check it out with family that live in the area, and now do most of their shopping in this market. Was a surprise to see how every section had plenty of choices. Nice produce and meat departments. Added a liquor store area inside. Great local wine department. Fresh flowers and big deli. Friendly staff. Clean. Was surprised and impressed with the changes."
"I have my qualms with this store. It's local but it's lost a lot of the charm it used to have when I was a child. The owner of the store pretty much owns a lot of the businesses or locales in town. I can't confirm this but I haven't heard positive things on the end of people who've worked there extensively. Prices are slightly higher, but that's to be expected as it's an out of the way grocery store. I do recommend an alternative store found across the way from this one. It supports another local trying to make it rather than a guy with a bunch of capital already. It's a little more dinky but I personally don't mind."
