"I only took a few points off because of the construction and sometimes the wait for food can be considerable. The burgers are fantastic tho, fries are always crispy, but I think the onion rings are the better side dish. You can't pass up a shake or malt either. Prices are reasonable as well. It's just insane to park right now.. also our order was like #82 and the first number we heard called was #76 it was about a 20 min wait, to get to our number. But they are cooking out of a truck while construction is happening so I can't get too upset."

"Every burger fan has a favorite greasy spoon dive. Mine is Frisko Freeze. It isn’t perfect or consistent, but they make a great burger, fries, and shake. I also can't deny that a strong part of the allure is it's place is my family history. My Dad brought me here first when I was 7 years old, having been a regular during his days at Stadium High School after his father had introduced him when it opened in 1950. For those of us with this heritage, Frisko will always be special. We enjoy the ritual of ordering at the window and standing in the parking lot waiting for our order to be called. Then sitting in our car, enjoying the aromas as we unwrap the burger mess contained in each in each wax paper bag. It's wonderful. But even setting that aside, Frisko Freeze has a great burger, simply made on a griddle, cooked with the bun perched on top and dressed in special sauce with the lettuce mixed and onions mixed in. It’s greasy goodness with a pleasing aroma and feel, and I’m here for that. For the uninitiated, there is no seating here, indoor or outdoor. Just a parking lot with a dozen spots, a walk up window and short drive through lane. You can order ahead too. Is this the best you'll ever have? Maybe not. But it doesn't matter if you love it like regulars do, just give it a chance. You might have your own favorite, but I'm sure you will appreciate ours."
