"It's weird that they make you wait in line to enter the store like a throw back to COVID days. I asked why we had to wait to enter the store and the lady said it was for security reasons. All the security staff there are women who couldn't take down any security risk. It was the weirdest experience. You have to wait 30 seconds to a minute to enter the store. How is making customers wait 30 seconds to enter the store promoting security?"
"trash employees in a trash store. they lie about closing time to get everyone out prior to the actual close time. get another job if you hate this one so bad. they let people in 45 prior to close just to start immediately barking at them to get in line. not quite as bad as some others out there but still I'd give zero stars if I could."
"I went to stop in yesterday and the entrance was blocked by a retractable belt stanchion. I waited for a few seconds and then caught the eye of the security guard and asked if they were closing and she said no and started to come over to open the belt. So I assumed it was closed by mistake and went to unhook it myself. She got upset and said that she had to open it. She then fumbled with it for a second pretended to relock it and then said okay fine you can go in. I just turned around and left. This must be some new tactic to reduce theft, but when you treat every customer entering like a potential thief, why would they shop at your store?"
"Apparently a new policy change they now require you to wait for an undetermined amount of time to enter the store. It's not even a capacity thing just new from corporate. Don't bother shopping here just go next door to Marshalls. What kind of backwards company makes people waste their time to give their business? Yuck in a world of online shopping reducing the in store experience to these barred entry tactics is appalling. Like waiting in line to check out at their understaffed registers wasn't enough apparently you should plan additional wait time to even enter their store. Acting like they're some high end retail that makes you wait which could not be further from the truth. This speaks volumes of what they think of their clientele."
"When I entered the store to return 2 items. I told the lady at the door I was here for returns. She did not say anything just pointed to the area at the front of the store near the jewelry. I thought it was strange so I held up my bag asking, "Returns? Do I wait here?" She nodded and went to help someone else speaking into her walkie. After 10 min of standing and waiting I asked another lady. "Do I do returns here?" She said "No, that's for jewelry." And pointed me to the always ridiculously long line. I tried to explain to the lady that sent me in the wrong direction that I was confused and I wished she had listened to my question and told me where I needed to go not waste my time. She brushed me off and did not take time to listen. With Marshall's next door and with no desire for customer service that doesn't attempt trying I won't be back."
