"I was hesitant to write this review, as I am local and want to support business like this. However, my experience has stuck with me and I want to provide forewarning to others. Back in the fall, my parents flew up for the weekend to celebrate their anniversary. To start off the weekend, we decided to go to dinner at Russell's. My parents never spend money on nice dinners, but they wanted this to be a special occasion. They spent over $500.00, maybe closer to $600.00. Within one hour of eating here, my mother and I become violently ill. I was unable to keep fluid down until about 16 hours later. I ended up having to go to urgent care and they confirmed it was food poisoning from whatever we had eaten for dinner. (My mother and I both had the same meal) We had planned so many activities this weekend but we spent it recovering from eating here. My main concern came from the lack of guest recovery and sympathy from the management. After calling 3 times, I finally got ahold of a manager. I was attempting to see if Russell's could offer any money back, since my parents were heartbroken that their anniversary weekend was basically shot. Again, they never spent money like this and I was hoping if I was able to get a good portion back, they would feel less upset about the whole experience. After spending hundreds of dollars here, Russell's gave us a large sum of 17 dollars back. Which essentially felt like a slap in the face. I understand there is a business to run, however, after sharing our story and still being met with denial of fault and very little sympathy, I recommend others proceed with caution. Great venue and we had a lovely waiter, however note the risk of crippling food poisoning and penny pinching management. This always seems like a sign of overall poor company culture, which I personally do not want to support. Hoping my experience was a one off."

"Just left. What a great dining experience.. the homemade sauce was insane good. The chicken, pork, beef tips, etc. Only thing I could say is publish drink specials etc on the website. I was afraid you didn’t have cocktails when I made the reservation but for those reading. They have cocktails and they were amazing. I will be back again."

"What a great place for a dinner date! The Food was delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was impeccable. We started with a couple appetizers. The seasonal mushrooms and the scallops which were perfectly cooked and flavorful. We moved on to the entree and both had an amazing Filet Mignon steak special with lobster and chose an extra side of Risotto. The steaks were perfect medium and the lobster was cooked right on point. Next we went ahead and, although we were so full already, we rallied and ordered the delicious caramel bread pudding! It was da BOMB!! We will recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be adding Russell's to our round of date night favorites."

"It was our first ever Christmas party for our company, I was very excited about it. Some of my coworkers and I drove together, the place was very nice. Every body was there from our seven locations. When it was time to eat I was expecting good food but instead we got very cold and dry sliders, over cooked shrimp and some left overs cheese and fruit. Personally I think they thought that no one was going to care about the food but some of us do. I’m writing this comment just to hope that next time the kitchen manager puts more effort to serve the big parties as well your individual tables."

"an upscale nice restaurant tucked in a weird location. The service was perfect. The staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable and got everything we needed. The food was delicious but the menu was limited. The tables are way too close to each other and positioned awkwardly."
