Shari's Cafe and Pies 15252 Aurora Avenue North, Shoreline, WA 98133

"My boyfriend and I went out because we were craving breakfast and wanted to try something else. When we came in, it was fairly empty but there were people waiting for a table. There was only one person running around and one other was doing mobile orders. I’d say we waited for maybe 7 minutes. We could tell that this place was really understaffed. We came and got our drinks quick. We then waited around 10-20 minutes for the server to take our order. She was really nice. I then noticed there was only one cook. About 20 minutes later we got our food. Egg proportions were fairly small and tasted like it was sitting out. Other than that, the food was pretty decent to me. My boyfriend said the food was okay. I wouldn’t probably go back because of the slow business. I don’t personally think it’s because of the employees. They’re trying their best and I do feel bad for them for working short handed. I’m not sure if it’s like this at every sharis but they deserve to be better staffed"

"Very friendly staff, yummy food, and a cozy environment! I hadn't been to a Shari's in years so it was nice to go again and I had a great time. Food was very satisfying and I even tried and shared the limited time smores pie! Yummm."

"Occasionally when we need to satisfy our sweet tooth, we gave in to the urge to get pie from Shari’s. If we are going to eat sweets we better go all the way in. So here I am, a slice of amazing pie, with vanilla ice cream served on the side; plus another slice in the box for tomorrow. Yes please. The hardest thing is to choose from an enormous list of all yummy pies…. It never felt right to not order that one, but it never felt wrong when we are eating the one we ended up picking. Every single kind we had tried were tasty. Among our favorite are marionberry cheese pie, sour cream lemon, and lemon meringue. We could tasted the pulp in the fruity pies including lemon and banana too. Nowadays, with the cost of everything but the paychecks inflated, We think maybe next time we will simply order the whole pie to go, since if we ordered four or more individual slices of the same pie, it will cost more than ordering the whole. However, Shari’s servers are always so personable and welcoming, which really makes the late night dine-in good experiences."

"Had a very pleasant weekend brunch here with good friends and family. Haven't been to this style of classic breakfast diner in a while but my family used to go to Denny's as a kid and this was just as welcoming and nostalgic. Server was also super friendly and warm. Definitely would come back again and pig out for breakfast :)"
