"I expected highly from Pinoy Kitchen, considering it had five stars, but my expectations were completely blown out of the water. The food was the best Filipino food you can get without actually going to the Phillipines. The owners work there, and they are the most lovely couple. We came in and were treated like family, and it was really special to feel that. The pricing of the food is completely fair and competitive at about 16 dollars per entrée. The portions are quite big, so bring a big stomach. I ordered the beef caldereta and the pork adobo. The beef caldereta was truly amazing. It felt like it was made with love. The way the flavor melted in your mouth is something I can not stop fantasizing about. Their pork adobo was simply wonderful. It was a perfect rendition of what pork adobo should be, and all the flavors just masterfully mix to create this dish. The cherry on top for me was the lumpia. Their lumpia is simply a must have, it's so flavorful and crunchy. I'm so glad to see more local filipino restruants, if you're nearby, even if it may be a little out of the way to go there, it is a must if you love filipino food."
"The lumpia was a golden flaky crispy fried, the savory filling has visible pieces of veggies mixed with the meat. You can tell they are not skimping on any part of making these bad boys. While most lumpia average the size of a thumb or finger these are closer to the size of a spring roll, great value for the price. I recommend this place for those with a craving for just a couple lumpia, or looking for a catering tray that people wont stop talking about. When I visited the front desk was operated by the owners husband, I could see the pride on his face talking about his wife and her cooking. This is a local buisness worth supporting and a "hidden gem" kitsap will surely grow to love."
"I have never seen lumpia this big in all the Filipino food places that I had been to. It had meat to eat and not much fillers like other lumpias I’ve had before. The pansit didn’t have any meat on it but it was tasty and had decent amount of vegetables in it. The pork adobo and bisteak could have a little more flavor but it was good. That’s just me. Maybe get try their sisig when they have it."
"sooooo delicious. we got beef lumpia ($1.75 each) and it was made to order. So delicious and filling! other items on the menu sounded good but we just wanted a snack. sounds like you can check out their facebook account to know the daily menu! 10/10 recommend!"
"Heard great things about this place from several people and decided to swing by on a Friday night for some food. Owners Jenny and Ivan were great. Enjoyed talking with them. The portions were large, and the food was fantastic. I had the orange chicken, and the wife had adobo pork. Both were great. The lumpia were definitely larger than expected, which was a bonus, and the pancit was great, too. Definitely recommend this place."
